This was a good book. The beginning started off fast paced and the book seemed to slow down for a bit in the middle only to pick back up in the end. There were alot of characters and the story didn't seemed to flow right in my opinion in the middle and it was hard for me to keep up with who was who. One thing I will say is I hate when the synopsis of a book says one thing and the book tells another tale. What I was expecting based on the synopsis of this book where the son is concerned is not what happened at all. There were a few errors in the story but not enough to take away from the story. I also dnt know how I feel about some of the big reveals in this story. Over all I did like this book.

Lord ham mercy man wth I hope meat ain't stupid enough to go against Manus when manus don't know who killed Brad lordt ham mercy lemme read this second book so I can pray that he ain't as stupid as I thought. And I'm confused with the book I'm reading because after I finished book one it sad book 2 so I'm guessing I'm reading part 2 who knows. I'll know once I see if he son gets kidnapped hopefully lol man don't die if he do ima be mad as heck

good read

I read part 1 and two since it was written in one book . Anyways Manus son wasn't even er kidnapped smh and I'm still upset about Brad death . Reminds me so much of Jah's death in hood rat series. Teary eyed lordt ham mercy but I'm glad everyone got what they deserve and also glad Manus didnt including Ol Meat lol. I enjoyed this book though. Glad I finally finished it sheesh.

This was a good book however i would have given this a higher rating if there weren't so maby characters to keep up with,with so many characters i had to remember who was who so kind of confusing at times.

Grest story but as other readers stated too many characters to keep up with. However, that made it more intetesting and realistic. There were some typos and grammical errors, but nothing that took away from the story.

Good Read

I enjoyed this book, but for some reason I think it could've been better. Why start off with Brad and him finding love only for him to get killed. Like I said it was good but I have read much better. Not sure if I want to try part 2.
