Hope this writing may entertain any enthusiast who turns this side of the globe and search for South Indian or particularly Kerala Context related studies; useful for Research scholars in Architecture, Material culture, South Asian studies etc in academic sector also. The attempt here is to unfold the images that imprinted on my mind matrix during my personal experience of living, working, travel, etc and to narrate the associated memories in a Kerala mind set.The ‘Space’ referred here is the living space that an individual\family seeks in a built up environment to dwell or the public space that he has to share in the process of community living. The search here is to seek not only the physical but also the metaphysical nature of space. The space experienced in the context of traditional culture of this land and the new marketing culture that interface as a globalization phenomena.
