This is an excellent summary of key medieval theologians such as Duns Scotus, Bonaventure, and Aquinas on Christology. This summary follows with a brief yet telling summary of Luther's Christology as his biblical language contrasts with the metaphysical and philosophical language of the medieval theologians. This is a dense book, which, if one is unfamiliar with the concepts being discussed, one will be at a significant loss. So, if need be, brush up on your Christological and theological terminology before reading this short yet dense and technical work.
