An excellent text on Christian teaching. Theologically grounded and packed with practical implications. An essential reader for all Christian teachers.

The author wanted this book to be disruptive, and he certainly accomplished that goal, at least in my life. Many of the ideas presented in this text challenged me and my understanding of what education should be. I don't necessarily agree with every proposed method or concept, but being forced to reexamine my own beliefs about education helped me a great deal. And in some areas my mind has indeed been changed. Most importantly, though, Donovan Graham clearly loves God, his students, and the field of education, and this love saturates every word he writes. Reading this book helped me remember exactly how important it is to create and maintain a culture of grace and redemption at my school and in my own classroom. I gladly recommend this book to my fellow teachers and any who are interested in the realm of education.
