First off the artwork on this book is absolutely beautiful it captures a part of this book greatly! I read this book in less than 9 hours I just couldn’t put it down. The plot is great it’s honestly a lot better than I expected. It follows Carly who is looking for her brother in Las Vegas who is now homeless due to unseen circumstances. It also follows Brian Gray bolt who is a ruthless power/ money hungry man who knows his money can buy politicians, famous people, sport stars, and many more people. He sends homeless(indigent) people to live on an island so he can sell one of his rundown lands to someone else. During their stay on the island many of them are killed by some mysterious people and along the way his sister Carly falls in love with an unlikely ally and reunited with her brother. As for Brian Graybolt will he finally get what he deserves? This book had me at the edge of my seat and every turn of the page was as suspenseful as the next. This is a softer suspense novel for people who aren’t into rougher books. The only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is a few sentences in the book are missing and two paragraphs repeat themselves right after another.

This is one of my fave books I’ve read this year. I loved the multi location storytelling and how the three stories all meshed. It was a really fun read!
