Life in Mistolear is no picnic for Princess Willow. Her mother is weakening from a mysterious disease, her brother wreaks magical havoc, and she has to contend with the bloodthirsty Goblin King and Demon Host. The entire future of the realm depends upon a difficult choice that only willow can make.
Maggie L. Wood lives in London, Ontario, where she writes in between doing the cooking and cleaning, reading her favorite YA authors, and watching her favorite AMC, HBO, and Netflix shows. Her books, Captured and The Darkening, of The Divided Realms series have had two different publishers and have both been orphaned by their former publishers before the 3rd book in the series (Auralict) could be published. Maggie has decided to publish Auralict and the Divided Realms series herself as e-Books, and as paperbacks through Amazon's CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform!
Ah simply amazing, I was banging my head against the wall when I suddenly realized the third book is not out yet!! The romantic relationship between the elf (Ah can't remember his name, hey it was 4 months ago!) and Willow, with Brand and the other elf in the mix, was a stroke of genius, (kudos Maggie!)
After saving the realm willow is trying to be a normal teenager, only issues; her knight BF is driving her nuts with his old fashioned ideals- sun bathing in shirts is out, and she is trying to keep up in mage school to improve her magic.
Enter a goblin king and his host set on setting the faeries free to wreak havoc on the world.
A great second installment. the characters really grow together and learn to accept each other as they are from different worlds. Willow really grows into her strength as a ruler and confidence that she can rule.
