Coud is training hard to earn money for their journey to Edel Garden through fighting matches in an underground betting arena that illegally uses Edel Raids, Milliard Trey. He follows his ominous opponent, Rasati Tigres, to the mansion she resides in, in hopes of asking her what tricks she uses to help her win. When she responds with the only trick she uses is that she simply cannot afford to lose, Coud doesn't quite understand and becomes discouraged. How will Coud ever win against this woman when he isn't even anywhere near her level in skill or mentality?!
