Carver is in big trouble, so he's got the enemy right were he wants them!
Dead List was tedious at times because of the threads leading to multiple people, places and agencies! As part of the story telling, the backstories were either dragged out or confusingly thin!
When everyone is out to kill you, from every group you ever engaged, the enemy list is unyielding! Add in hired assassin's and the plotline is excessive!
If you work through these impediments early in the plotline, then about halfway through the book, the story is fantastic!
While not as good as book one, Deadl Before Dawn, you'll probably like this one if you can hang with it!
