Wow, I absolutely adore this book! It's about a twenty year old girl, Evie, trying to deal with life with an abusive (physically & mentally) father. She works nightly as a janitor. One day, she uses her dad's truck and accidentally rear-ends an Aston Martin, causing damage to both vehicles. Valeri (H) goes easy on her when he realizes how terrified Evie was. He's smitten with her at first sight and wants to figure out everything she's hiding.
I want to possess every goddamn inch of you. I want your body, your mind, your soul, your every fucking breath.
Evie is cautious with her feelings, but they're truly soulmates so there was no tearing them apart. Even when she found out he runs the Bratva in the city. Vasily is incredibly protective, possessive, and gentle with her. It was refreshing to see that in a Bratva book! Now don't get me wrong, he's not a softie... Just only with her. <3 He is a manwhore but doesn't even look at another woman after he sees Evie the first time.

There was an incredible amount of spice in this book, I enjoyed it!
His face glistens with my release, and the sight of it awakens some savage, possessive part of myself. As soon as he's close enough, I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him down before running my tongue over his wet chin.
"You should always taste like my pussy," I tell him.
"Goddamn," he groans. "My girl's gone feral."
Sonja Grey's books are ALWAYS top tier! Five stars.

I tried to get past his reputation, which I did in the beginning, until the club scene, where his two previous hookups showed up and made Evie feel like shit. Though he said he was sorry for his past and couldn't do anything about it, this scene still made me furious.
Evie didn't make it any better. After feeling insecure and hurt because of the reminders of his past, she only got mad for a few minutes. Then, after some apologies from Valeri and the assurance that there's no one else for him, everything went well between them again. Ugh!
It's also cringey that they dropped the love bomb after that scene. I mean, ewwww after seeing the glaring proof of his lifestyle, why would she still consider being with him? If I were her, I'd probably run as fast as I could; I don't think I can be with someone like that.
Then again, this is their story, and they're supposed to find their HEA. But I'm done with this book; I'm not interested anymore in seeing what will happen to them.

Who doesn’t love a insta love mafia book?!? No third break up!

I knew I was going to love Valeri despite him being a complete manwhore. There was just something about him that told me he was going to fall hard and he definitely did.
The minute he meets Evie when she rear ends his precious car he’s a goner. I loved how obsessed he was with her. He was so damn sweet with her, like swoon worthy sweet. And Evie herself was just plain sweet.
However them and the other couples were probably the only thing I liked about this book. There wasn’t much of a story line like the others in this series. Also I didn’t appreciate Evie being torn down by not one but two of his previous one night stands. I mean he did everything in his power not to let Evie feel a certain way about it so I did appreciate that. I even liked how he deleted everything from his phone that pertained to another woman and he bought her a house because he didn’t want memories of other woman to be there they lived.
But this book was just filled with sex. I know, I say this in every review I write for this author but this one was so excessive. I kid you not when I say there were 10 plus sex scenes in this book. I’m not exaggerating when I say this book was 60% sex and 40% whatever else. I read the first few and then I had to skip the rest because come on why the hell are they so long?! I also felt like this book was filled with fluff. I get it’s the last in the series but so much was stuffed into the last 20% in the book. Them getting a place, them getting engaged, them getting pregnant and then having their baby. All of that was the last 20% so I honestly skipped all that because there wasn’t anything interesting happening.
These stars are for the characters and the writing alone.

I don‘t really know what to say about her. She’s lovely, yes. But sooo boring.

I reaaallyy liked him in the previous books but in this book his character felt flat and kinda boring. He was the same blueprint like his brothers: protective and possessive, instant in love with his girl and super sweet. (boring af)

There was literally nothing new.
Of course the plot changes but the love story just repeats itself. The hot mafiaboss saves the little girl and they fell in love (instantly of course). I got the feeling the author uses the same characters each time and just gives them new names - this is so boring. I expected much more from Valeris book.
The series is good to just enjoy cliché and cute romances without drama. But when you want to read something with a thrilling plot and love story this is nothing for you. After two books with the same outline I just can‘t read this anymore, it annoys me.

Este fue muuuucho más cute y me encantó 💖. Valeri es la clase de protagonistas que sí me gusta leer. Es dulce, hot y rico 🙏 jskaja. También algo cuestionable 🥴.
Sabía que Valeri sería mi favorito, me alegra no haberme equivocado. Evie también me gustó, siento que yo sería ella si me pasara lo que a ella 😂.
De verdad tiene escenas super dulces y lindas, todo el libro me encantó, pero la primera parte es mi favorita ✨ ver a Valeri intentando conseguir una cita con Evie, la cita, el nerviosismo 💗. Cute.
Siento que Valeri es una mezcla de Vitaly y Luca Melnikov jskajak mis favs, así que obvio este me iba a gustar 💖.
Eso sí, este es el más spicy. Ojito si eso no te gusta tanto.

En el epílogo salen todos los hijos en total y salió Natalia 😭 la que será la protagonista del siguiente libro en la serie de los Melnikov. La pareja de Max. Y lloro 🤧. Ver a su padre super girly con su hija me muestra que me va a doler su libro. El secuestro va estar juerte. Pero a la vez me emociona mucho el que las dos familias se vayan a unir para rescatarlos, ya necesito leerlo!!!

Много ми хареса книгата, беше лека и приятна. Иви беше доста затворена и неуверена героиня, а Валери доста настоятелен, като куче с кокал просто не се отказваше, искаше я и направи всичко, за да я получи.
Хареса ми колко мил, съобразителен и галантен беше той. Как искаше да се грижи за нея и да я защитава. Хареса ми колко бързо я приеха останалите две двойки и другите второстепенни герои. Соня Грей успява всеки път да завладее читателя с оригинална и интересна история. Нямам търпение да започне да пише за втората генерация Медведев и да прочетем историите на децата на трите двойки.

At this point, I am completely obsessed with the Medvedev brothers and their absolutely unhinged Russian mafia behavior. 😂 Give me a huge, protective, possessive mafia man who meets a woman and basically decides, Yep, you’re mine. Pack your stuff. You’re moving in. Apparently, that is all it takes to make me happy.
Filthy Devil follows Valeri and Evie. Evie is a sweet, innocent book nerd working as a night janitor while dealing with an incredibly abusive father and a pretty heartbreaking home life. Then she accidentally rear-ends Valeri’s Aston Martin and unknowingly crashes straight into the life of a dangerous Bratva boss. Valeri is the younger Medvedev brother, the playboy who has absolutely no intention of settling down… until Evie. She’s sweet, innocent, completely unaware of who he really is, and this man basically falls to his knees for her.
I LOVED THEM. Watching Valeri go from carefree playboy to completely obsessed, protective, touch-her-and-die man was everything I wanted. And Evie desperately needed someone in her corner. I have such a weakness for romances where the FMC is struggling or needs to escape a horrible situation and the MMC comes barreling into her life like, Okay, you’re mine now and I’m fixing everything. Add in the forced proximity and possessiveness, and I’m sold.
This entire series has been super fun, dirty, spicy, romantic, and surprisingly sweet. They’re definitely heavier on the romance than the actual mafia storyline, and I do wish we got a little more of the inner workings and darker side of the Bratva. But honestly? I’m having way too much fun with these men to care that much.
The chemistry between Valeri and Evie was fantastic, the spice absolutely delivered, and underneath all that possessiveness there was a genuinely sweet romance. Sonja Grey’s pacing makes these books ridiculously easy to fly through, and I finished this audiobook so quickly. Lilly Drake and Michael Gallagher were fantastic as Evie and Valeri and made an already addictive story even more entertaining.
Another five-star hit for me. Protective Russian mafia men, forced proximity, an obsessed hero, a sweet bookish heroine, plenty of spice, and a man who swore he’d never settle down only to completely lose his mind over ONE woman? Yeah. Apparently that’s my brand.

this was the last book in the series, and i was disappointed. i liked the first half of this book, but after that it was like sex EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER (and that’s fine, i don’t mind but i personally prefer when they connect to each other by affection & show their love to each other by acts of service, or quality time.) another thing that didn’t sit right with me, was the fact that they got married & pregnant so quickly! like literally a month…this book could’ve been cut in half - there were a lot of unnecessary chapters.
AND PLEASE CAN THE FMC HAVE A DAUGHTER FIRST!! EVERY SINGLE BOOK OF HERS IVE READ THEY ALWAYS HAVE A SON, LIKE PLEASE WE NEED TO SEE A DAD+DAUGHTER INTERACTION.

It's funny how a car accident totally changed Evie's life for the better. Of course that isn't saying much, as her home life was crap! Even hitting a normal person would probably have been better. But hitting Valeri and him becoming smitten with her was just the thing. It was great that Valeri took the time to get to know Evie and move slow (in his head anyway). I loved that Evie took the out she was given, how she wanted to help those that had helped her. I sort of wished she wouldn't have held Valeri back with her father, that man deserved everything that came towards him. The ending was great! Loved seeing the 3 brothers and the families still enjoying spending time together and everyone happy.

This is the final book of the Medvedev brothers, this, like the previous 2 is about one of the brothers falling madly in love, & these brothers fall fast & hard. It’s a cute love story with a little bit of violence.
There isn’t really much of a storyline other than the MC’s falling in love & it’s nearly identical to the first too.

After surviving the **Byrne Brothers Blue Eye Epidemic**, I moved on to **Sonja Grey**, a new-to-me author whose first two books I listened to on a whim and actually liked.
Now, audiobooks are wonderful, but I miss nuance when my brain is also folding laundry, driving, or pretending to function like a productive adult. So I already know I need to go back and read Books 1 and 2 properly.
But for now?
We’re in Book 3: **Filthy Devil**.
Bratva setting up shop in the U.S.? Established.
New territory? Established.

This book features **Valeri Medvedev**, the youngest Medvedev brother.
Vasily is the oldest brother and head of the family. Volodya, also known as Vladimir, is the middle brother. Personally, I thought Vladimir’s book was better, so I was interested in seeing how Book 3 would turn out.
The Medvedevs are a newer mafia family in the U.S. We don’t know exactly what part of the country they’re in, but we do know they’re near an ocean.
Vasily came over first to establish a foothold in the city. He had the south part of town, and the Irish had the north. Then Volodya came over to help Vasily wipe out the Irish, and now Volodya runs the north side.
Meanwhile, Valeri was left in Moscow to run the Bratva there, but now baby brother is in the States too.
And right off the bat?
We start with murderous thoughts.
Enter **Evie Finch**, twenty-one, long dark hair, light brown eyes — praise the Lord — glasses, defiant, practical, and carrying a take-no-shit attitude.
Evie works overnight cleaning the public library. She takes the bus. She has Gayle the bus driver looking out for her. She works with Jerry, an older gentleman who dreams of buying an RV and traveling the country with his wife.

You are a clogged sewer line with a drinking problem.
The fact that he thought he could hand Evie over to his pervert friend and still expect her to come clean his house because Lyle lives nearby?
Drop him in the ocean.
Concrete boots and all.
### Lyle the Pervert
Lyle is trash.
Immediate trash.
No complexity.
No nuance.
No tragic backstory needed.
He waits for Evie, busts into her bedroom, and tells her that her father said he could have her.
Absolutely not.
Lyle is the kind of man who makes you grateful this is a mafia romance because we need somebody with loose morals and access to disposal methods.

Correct.
Necessary.
Therapeutic.

Lisa, girl.
Stand down.
You had one night with Valeri and somehow turned it into a residency program.
Why are you showing up at his apartment building?
Why are you sneaking past Bill the doorman?
Why are you humiliating Evie in the bathroom at Inferno because she’s wearing clothes you donated to Goodwill?
Ma’am.
You gave the outfit away.
That means it left your jurisdiction.
Lisa really decided to embarrass Evie in a club full of Medvedev family members and thought that was wise.
Do you want to be on the wrong side of the Bratva?
Because that is how you end up banned from Inferno and spiritually escorted from the narrative.

### Gayle the Bus Driver
Gayle is that girl.
Evie tries to run from Valeri and catch the bus, and Gayle basically says, “Why are you taking the bus when you could be having breakfast with that man?”
But Gayle also does something important.
She reminds Evie who she is.
She tells her she is smart.
Gorgeous.
Sweet.
Worthy.
The kind of girl a man like Valeri would be lucky to have.
And every now and then, you need somebody to tell you that you are beautiful, kind, and worth all the things.
That is why Gayle is the MVP.
### Bill the Doorman
Bill also deserves recognition.
Bill is helping Mrs. Lohman with her wheelchair while crazy Lisa sneaks into the building, and Valeri has the nerve to tell him not to let her in anymore.
Bill says she’s a little unhinged.
I know that’s right, Bill.
That woman is crazy.
### Mac the Mechanic
Shoutout to Mac.
Got a dent out of a front fender in thirty minutes.
I wish you were real, Mac.

For the most part, this was a quick, easy read.
And as far as mafia romance goes, it had the things I want.
Bratva structure.
Family hierarchy.
Territory.
Enemies.
Protective brothers.
Obsessive hero.
Strong but wounded heroine.
Villains who deserve consequences.
Found family energy.
And a man who does all the ridiculous mafia husband things by the end.
Was it perfect?
No.
I wish their mother had been more involved. I would have liked to see her perspective. Also, if Valeri is in the States now, who is running the Bratva in Moscow?

Is the Moscow office just vibes and voicemail?
Still, the story worked.
Evie was easy to root for. Valeri was charming, funny, dangerous, and gone for her almost immediately. The Medvedev family dynamic was endearing, especially the way his brothers and sisters-in-law doted on him.
And after surviving several books where everybody’s eyes were blue enough to require a Sherwin-Williams sponsorship, Valeri’s green eyes and Evie’s brown eyes felt like a miracle.
Was the kissing weird?
Yes.
Did I want someone to stop sucking lips like they were trying to unclog a straw?
Also yes.
But overall?
This was decent.
It was fun.
It moved quickly.
It gave me the mafia romance checklist without making me build a wall chart.
And honestly, after the Byrne Brothers and their Caribbean-blue iris Olympics, that was enough.

Now, audiobooks are wonderful, but I miss nuance when my brain is also folding laundry, driving, or pretending to function like a productive adult. So I already know I need to go back and read Books 1 and 2 properly.
But for now?
We’re in Book 3: **Filthy Devil**.
Bratva setting up shop in the U.S.? Established.
New territory? Established.
New enemies? Present.
Local alliances? Working.
Men trying to build power without acting like cartoon villains?

## 📚 Plot + Vibe Dump
This book features **Valeri Medvedev**, the youngest Medvedev brother.
Vasily is the oldest brother and head of the family. Volodya, also known as Vladimir, is the middle brother. Personally, I thought Vladimir’s book was better, so I was interested in seeing how Book 3 would turn out.
The Medvedevs are a newer mafia family in the U.S. We don’t know exactly what part of the country they’re in, but we do know they’re near an ocean.
Vasily came over first to establish a foothold in the city. He had the south part of town, and the Irish had the north. Then Volodya came over to help Vasily wipe out the Irish, and now Volodya runs the north side.
Meanwhile, Valeri was left in Moscow to run the Bratva there, but now baby brother is in the States too.
And right off the bat?
We start with murderous thoughts.
Enter **Evie Finch**, twenty-one, long dark hair, light brown eyes — praise the Lord — glasses, defiant, practical, and carrying a take-no-shit attitude.
Evie works overnight cleaning the public library. She takes the bus. She has Gayle the bus driver looking out for her. She works with Jerry, an older gentleman who dreams of buying an RV and traveling the country with his wife.
Evie has never been to a club.
She doesn’t have friends.
She’s never had a boyfriend.
And she lives under the control of her abusive, drunken father, who has officially gone platinum in Worst Father of the Year.
This man is unemployed, violent, possibly killed Evie’s mother, and is best friends with Lyle the Pervert.
So yes.
We are starting in hell.
Then Evie rear-ends Valeri’s new Aston Martin in her father’s beloved F-150.
And baby, Valeri is about to be a goner.
Those one-night stands are not hitting like they used to.

Valeri is twenty-seven, green-eyed, handsome, dimpled, chiseled, bearded, rich, dangerous, and the baby brother of the Medvedev family.
In the previous books, he’s the fun one.
The charming one.
The hilarious one.
The most attractive brother.
The loving one.
The family babysitter.
And listen, “cute” is not usually a word I use to describe a murderous psycho from Russia who competes with his brother over body count as in dead bodies.
But here we are.
Valeri is adorable.
And terrifying.
A rare combo.
He sees Evie and immediately becomes interested because she is not like the women he usually goes after. She turns him down, which I loved for him because sometimes beautiful men need to be humbled for character development.
Evie says no, and Valeri’s whole system glitches.
Because clearly no woman has ever told this man no before.
Now she is on his radar.
And baby, once Evie is on Valeri’s radar, that Bratva man locks in like a missile with feelings.
Now, Valeri does need some player training.
Because how does Lisa, the one-night stand who won’t go away, know where you live?
First rule of one-night stands: never bring them to your house.
If you are going to be a player, tighten your game up.
That said, once Valeri starts pursuing Evie, he gives all the classic mafia romance energy.
Overprotective? Check.
Obsessive? Check.
Wants to take care of her? Check.
Tells her she doesn’t need to work? Check.
Offers to add her name to all his bank accounts? Check.
Avenges the people who hurt her? Check.
Gets rid of Lyle? Check.

Part of the Medvedev Bratva series each book can be read as a standalone with a sexy mafia man and the women he chooses. So be sure you hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Valeri sexy as all get out bratva boss ruthless when needed, dangerous, deadly on a good day, protect those he loves even though he makes fun of his brothers for finding becoming soft due to their wives and usually gets who/what he wants that just happens to be the little women who hit him. Evie such a sweetheart, shy, an extreme introvert, works hard, does her best to be invisible and the moment to hits the back of the sexy man’s car her world changes. But fate has stepped in taking over all control ensuring they meet in the weirdest way making that tough boss realize what he has been missing but it was amazing reading a big old tough bratva boss with the patience, tenderness and will to not push her but don’t get it twisted he was still his bossy, controlling self but when it came to her protection was his main goal and he wasn’t going to let anyone stop him from loving his girl nor was he going to allow anyone to keep dragging her down but will she be strong enough to walk away from the toxicity of her family life, will he prove that while he may be tough he is also gentle, will she trust that he will protect her and can she finely have freedom, happiness?.

Valeri and Evie are such a yummy couple. I love their meet cute – a car wreck. Evie has had such a hard life, but Valeri is there for her. Having read the previous books and knowing Valeri and his playboy ways, I knew he would need a strong, caring, and beautiful soul. We have that in Evie.
The suspense in this book works perfectly with the amped up spice in this book and wow, is it spicy. It's not quite as suspenseful as the first two books, but it actually works for me. I love the focus on the whole family and the steaminess 🔥🔥🔥.
If you enjoy mafia books, I recommend this book. This is book 3 in the Medvedev Bratva series. It is technically a standalone, but reading them in order would definitely help you enjoy them more!!!.

This was a mess to me. I hate to be a hater but my god this brought me back to my middle school Wattpad days. MC is 27 but this book feels like cringey teenage insta love. And I’m a big fan of fast burn but it just didn’t make any sense to me. I also skimmed through the last 5ish chapters, I couldn’t handle it. It really felt like nothing was building just a whole lot of sex after 50%. I prefer books with no third act breakup but there should be at least a little conflict outside of the relationship of something, instead we got a (maybe a spoiler idc) speed run of a bought house on the beach, a proposal, family dinner, wedding, pregnancy discovery, and a whole birth in like 2 chapters.
Also one of my biggest pet peeves is unnecessarily long chapters. 20+ pages in every chapter drives me nuts, break up the days activities into multiple chapters please try and separate some things so it doesn’t all blend into one big mess.

2 All the Books in this Series is the Same Stars
I hate insta love. Loathe it.
Every book in this damn series follows the same plot formula.
Girl in distress. Girl is much shorter than guy (this seems oddly specific but each damn girl in this series is so much smaller than the dude and the author makes sure you know that). Guy sees girl. Guy saves girl. Guy immediately loves girl. Throw in one-two external mafia problems that are resolved quickly. Guy and girl have loads of sex. Guy is mushy sweet to his girl. Like over the top makes me nauseated sweet. External threats are over. Now just read about sex, more sex, marriage proposal, more sex, wedding, sex, sex, sex, then baby. The end.

This was my favorite of the series! Evie was such a great character, and I fell in love with both her and Valeri! Their love story was so fun and written perfectly! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
