Many trivia that I first learned here like the guy who killed Lennon was holding a copy of Catcher in the Rye, that was really epic for me. Now, I know what was it like to be really from Rock Eras. The ones who touched me the most was the story of David Bowie especially with the the letter to his brother and the girl who said"I make love to 25,000 people and still go home alone." This was indeed a real compilation of the flaws and highlights of the career of a certain rock star. This goes to show, how human and animal they are with their weakness, how lonely they are that's why they cope up with things that are unacceptable. I just did not like how some of the part did not have comma or period.
Well worth a read..found it very interesting. I loved so many of the rockers in this book..but now do feel some what discusted...(haha!!)Glad I picked it up.
I am not sure what I would make of this book today but when I got it in 1990 I read it so many times, I found it fascinating and well written for the time.
