This is the fourth book in a four book series about four Harvard college students and what happens in their lives as told by one of the students who becomes a journalist, Jamison Pike. Very good series by two of my favorite authors, Christian husband and wife team, Jim and Terri Kraus. It starts in the early 1800s and ends in May 1863. Each book deals with one of the four characters and tells what they did with their lives which is a good way of telling the story instead of telling of all four characters in every book in the series. Great read that I highly recommend.

Love this series. Peaked my interest in learning more about who the first woman doctor was. Based in 1800s, story of four friends who meet at Harvard and their subsequent lives.-Jamison's perspective shown in book four.
