This is the last Installment in the Twin Pine Grizzlies series - I'm sad to see this series end, but at the same time I have to agree it was time, The last few books just haven't been as good. Although I enjoyed this,I felt as with the last few in the series the actual Twin Pine Grizzlie Brotherhood was just not involved in the story enough - its almost as an afterthough at the end of the book, this was especially grating as this was the last in the series and answers should have been given, instead we got a paragraph to sum up 15 books worth of characters, it just wasn't enough - There is a hint that there will be a spin off series of books to find out about the new characters that we have met in the last 3 or so books - but I left the series feeling a little cheated and sad that it would be rushed in such a way. Having said all that the relationship in this book was great and I enjoyed it a lot - it was just the end which in a way ruined it for me. I think the characters and the interesting concept of the twin pines grizzlies deserved more explanation.
I enjoyed this series. That being said, the final book was kind of a let down. Mostly referring to the epilogue. He's doing that and they did this and no need for the nexus after a full brotherhood is achieved. The situation with the kids was 'resolved' but no details on it (not necessarily a whole story but more info than given would have been nice) And how do they shift? Their parents shift together but they came out shifting with siblings. Does that change when reaching maturity (meaning when the mind catches up with the body since they transform into young men) The possible answers to these could be the beginning of a new series is the hint. I would check it out and see where she's going to go after this but I'm not sure it would pique my interest. To reiterate.. the epilogue came across as a let down to me

It's bittersweet thing when you get to the end of any series...sad to see them go, but happy they got their HEA. This series has wormed it's way into my heart and I don't know why haha. It's different than other shifter stories and some of the things irked me (i.e. the bear-shifting part of the whole plot wasn't adressed until the end of each book) but at the same time it made me look forward to the next one. As the conclusion of this series, this book was good. That epilogue...let's just say that the next generation's stories better come fast, I can't wait.
I'm probably going to reread them all. Just 'cause I love these guys so much ;)
