When she was a young girl, Miranda Scott read dozens of mystery books by authors such as Agatha Christie and Raymond Chandler, and she loved characters like Sherlock Holmes. Then she began hearing their voices in her head suggesting what she should and should not do. After a body is tossed into the lions’ habitat at the Zoo where she is the senior veterinarian, Miranda and Detective Bryan Anderson find themselves investigating several murders and dealing with a group of bad guys, while gangster friends of her father’s are trying to protect her. Plus, Miranda and Bryan alternate between flirting and fighting off romantic feelings. Murder seems to keep getting in their way!

I love the way Marcia helps an aspiring memoir writer connect the dots in life... it seems obvious, but the real value in life experience is activated when those memorable experiences are connected and given meaning through what they reveal, and what one learns. Marcia is a memmoir wizard in the way she helps you discover how to connect the experiences, add a new dimension, and create an inspiring article or book! Congratulations, and thanks, Marcia!

I really enjoyed this book. I've read through the entire thing and look forward to starting over only using the excerise pages and starting to do some writing. There have been many times over the years where I have wanted to write things for my children to have in the future and haven't known where to start. This book has given me direction, guidance, and sparked a desire to follow through. I'm so glad I won this book as part of the Goodreads First Reads giveaways.

This is an excellent way to help you capture your life in words. A memoir can be a beautiful gift to give your family - tales of your life growing up in times that are so different than now; or it can be a way to help yourself appreciate all that you have done over the years. Whatever your motivation, My Memoir Workbook is a wonderful tool to get your stories out of your head and onto paper.

I was impressed with this book. It gives a step-by-step guide to writing your memoir. I found that it was fun, concise, and it held my attention. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is considering writing a memoir, or just to someone who wants to improve their writing skills.

I received this book for free through Goodreads' First Reads giveaway program.

I received this book as a Goodreads giveaway. I enjoyed reading it. The layout is simple and straightforward. It's more of a workbook for someone who wants to tell their own personal story. I have started using it, and I think it will help me to dramatically improve my writing skills.

My Memoir Workbook provides a great way to organize your thoughts. In a way, it also made me look at my past and the people in it in another way, reanalyzing how they affected my life overall. I really enjoyed it.
