There are few things in life can haunt you like the past. But this time it’s not just my own past coming back to bite us. Born and raised into the Order of the Mystic Realm, Ethan is expected to abide by their code…and is forbidden to have a relationship with a witch. I never thought the people who hunt demons would scare me more than the monsters themselves, and I won’t sit down quietly when anyone—or anything—is threatening the man that I love. Though when more than one hunter goes missing, the Order is quick to blame the disappearances on witches, specifically me. If Ethan and I can’t find the thing that’s really behind this, a war between my coven and the hunters will break out. We both know that the witches would defeat the hunters in battle, but they wouldn’t necessarily win the war. Because a fight of that size risks exposing us to the rest of the world, sparking another nation-wide witch hunt. And then we will be persecuted—again.

If you've been reading this series, then you know that Anora (a witch) and Ethan (an Order member) are not supposed to be together. Ethan hides it from the organization he was born into and his family tolerates the relationship. But when the Order starts demanding Anora join them and hunt witches, it starts to get tricky.
I've been waiting for this moment because I knew Ethan had managed to slip away a little too easily. Ethan has been steadfast in his support of Anora and where his loyalty lies. He doesn't deviate from that in this book. But I feel like we're waiting for the other shoe to drop. Something is going to happen that will rock the foundation of their relationship....I feel it.
The other big happening in this book in Anora visiting the Covenstead. She gets a lot of her memories back and she's starting to embrace what she is. I'm hoping the Covenstead is better to Anora than it was to Callie.
BTW...I'm still waiting for Anora to run into Callie.
Imaginative story, but the technical errors are KILLING me!
I would have given this novel a 5-star rating - as well as the others in this series - but the technical errors are HORRENDOUS!!!
So many bad edits, misspellings, grammatical errors...
Good grief!
The well-developed characters - both primary and secondary - and the creative plots, well-done mystery/suspense...NONE of those positives make up for the total lack of editing in this series!
I'll keep reading, but I will also keep flagging the (numerous) errors!
Anora and Ethan are called to the order for hunters to help out on a case, but things start going bad when a hunter finds out she's a witch and threatens her with exposure and incubus is trying to suck her dry. Awesome read.
Not sure why this didn’t post after I finished the book.
Goodness I was going to go to sleep and after this ending I just want to start the last book of the series. It should be very interesting. Such good characters. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊

I love this series as well as the Thornehill Series. If you have read Callie and Lucas’ books, you’ll see some familiar characters in here as well though you don’t have to read that series first. I would recommend reading the first two in the Grimsgate Series before this one. The book begins right where book 2 ended and, as we’ve come to expect, ends with a somewhat resolution but also a cliffhanger. I did enjoy this book much more than the second in the series. There was more development and action in this book. And, also as usual, Ethan and Anora’s relationship is still going strong. Now I need book 4!
Moonlight is such a fabulous read. I love Ethan and Anora so much. They have grown together as a couple so much as this series goes. Working together, they tackle every challenge they face together. Hang onto your seats as we learn more about the order and the academy. I cannot wait for more of Ethan and Anora to come. The Grim Gate series is such an addicting paranormal series. Go one click and see what Ethan and Anora are battling in this one.
Omg Emily had written another great installment in the grim gate series ❤️ book 3. We got more backstory from anora childhood memories.we got more details on the order they are a very creepy shady organization lol. And the plot of the book was great can wait for the next book hopefully it will be soon.
Absolutely love this continuation! So many nods to Callie and The Thornhill series. It’s just a matter of time until these two queens come together! I’m never let down when reading this series. Annora may be lost since she had her memories taken away but she’s finding her way with her love Ethan and her friends. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
I love that there is another series in the thorne hill world!! I hope that this series will eventually have a crossover with Callie and Lucas!! This was an awesome book and I like that ANora has been introduced to the coven said and that there are some character crossover’s!!
