Lusty, Texas #10

Love Under Three Titans

Rate this book
Richard, Trevor, and Kevin Benedict thought they weren’t meant for marriage until Margaret Morrison arrived in Lusty.

It doesn’t take the triplets long to understand that Maggie herself had given up on some things in life, too—like having a family of her own or a happy-ever-after. So they tease her and tempt her, promising her that since they’re all unattached adults, they can enjoy each other, and indulge in some "fun and games."

Maggie agrees to fun and games, certain once they discover she’s no good at sex they’ll leave. Instead she catches fire in their arms, and as lust turns to love she wonders if she can get the men to accept a different game plan.

And then a specter from the Benedicts’ recent past arrives on the scene. Intent on revenge, their enemy is determined to destroy whatever—or whoever—the triplets hold dear.

Can the Benedict men keep Maggie safe, or will their enemy destroy their happy-ever-after?

Note: There is no sexual relationship or touching for titillation between or among siblings.

Margaret "Maggie" Morrison moved to Lusty, Texas to be closer to her niece and her son. Never once in her life did she plan on marrying and having children of her own. A rigid upbringing left her self sufficient but lonely as well. The minute she came to Lusty she caught the eye of triplets Richard, Trevor, and Kevin Benedict who seem interested in pursuing her.

Richard never thought that he would find a woman to share with his brothers, there had never been who sparked an interest so they had always been singular in their pursuits. Maggie calls to him like no woman before and his brisk and often uncomfortable ways of expressing him seem to mesh with the beauty. Trevor can sense all of Maggie's emotions and feels in tuned with her in every way. Kevin the voyeur of the bunch likes to bring out Maggie's naughty side. Now all the three have to do is convince her that she can have it all, but before they do that they offer her a fun and games attachment so they don't scare her off, this could backfire though as her feelings for all three grow with every moment thy are together.

I don't know what to think on this one, there was a lot of stuff left out that gets hinted at. I think the one thing though is the only one you really get to know is Richard, which I would have liked to read more about Trevor who gets kind of lost in the story. Maggie is a contradiction, I liked it but was disappointed too.

I’ve said it before in my reviews from this series; Lusty, Texas is my kind of town and I’d truly like to find it. I know about where it’s suppose to be, been past that area on more than one occasion, but it keeps eluding me, damn it!

Love Under Three Titans is number 8 in the Lusty, Texas collection. This book involves the triplets Richard, Trevor, and Kevin Benedict and Margaret (Maggie) Morrison. Margaret you might remember is Ginny Rose’s (book 7) aunt. As with any book set in this town, the men are overbearing but attentive. They realize that Maggie has sacrificed a lot for her family and doesn’t think she wants or deserves a life of her own but the triplets are bound and determined to make her see otherwise.

Things I really liked about this book. Each of the men, despite being triplets, had very different personalities. They were there own people and despite realizing that Maggie was the woman for them, they had different ways of dealing with her. I also liked that even though they all spent time with her together, they also spent time with her independently which allowed her to see them as individuals. I loved that Maggie meshed with each of the men despite their differing personalities. They each fed a different part of hers. Maggie also realized early on that these men and this town were different and special and despite not knowing them very long, she trusted them.

As with all books in this series, yes they are a little predictable but that doesn’t make them any less of a guilty pleasure, there comes a point when Maggie is in danger which makes the men and her realize how important they are to each other. I will warn you as with all books in this series, the sex scenes in this book are erotic and obviously multiple partners. While the men are related, they never touch each other in a sexual way, so you don’t have to be worried or grossed out. This is truly a fast summer by the beach or pool read and if you’ve read the series you’ll want to continue although I really do wish Cara would come up with that family tree they keep talking about in the books. I could really use it.

*** I love Cara Covington's Lusty, Texas tales in this series. I've read them all, so there is no turning back. Each one is different, each new set of people meld into the town that is full of awesome characters.
The history of the town is fascinating and the men and women take life and live to the fullest.
Richard, Trevor, and Kevin Benedict, triplets, thought they were destined for loveliness, until they laid eyes on Margaret. She's up for some good, once in a lifetime sexy romps, but things get deeper than just sex.

This foursome will find out that all is not lost on love for them.
When these men's past shows up and wants to harm Margaret, they prove to us that no one messes with their future with her. Each man brings a different quality to the relationship, that will make Margaret complete.
The story is suspenseful, the series is interesting and addicting. The characters are deeply thoughtful, sexy and romantic. The guys are so devoted and romantic, yet so super alpha.
Kate weaves her magic once again as she succeeds in her match-making.
We continue to always want more !
I've read the whole series, love this author's writing, and fabulous characters!
ENJOY !!

I'm not sure what it was about this book, but it seemed lacking. I liked how slow all the guys went with Maggie, because as someone very new to Lusty, menage relationships were odd to her. I loved that at the opening commitment ceremony all three of the guys answered her questions very honestly and in a way to catch her attention, knowing that she was it for them. As for the whole trouble that was following Richard, well that was meh. About the only good thing that I can say about it is that I liked that Julia finally learned that her brother really did love her.

Margaret "Maggie" Morrison is new to Lusty, TX and that's fine with her she's here to better get to know her niece and grandnephew as well as start her new business, and it's not like her to have an attraction to a man let alone three of them....Richard, Trevor and Kevin Benedict know that Maggie is the woman for them, they all felt it the first time they met her...now it's just a matter of getting her hooked on them....good story and gotta say I'm happy Ginny has more family in town now...onto the next

I am in absolute LUST with these three Benedicts! I adore their playfulness and charm and how absolutely determined they are to win and prove to Maggie that she belongs with them. Everything in this story is beautiful and sensual. The sex was extraordinarily steamy, of course with three men, how could it not be? This is one of the first Lusty books that I read that had me falling in love with this series to begin with. I loved it and the author SO HARD!!

Before reading vol. 10, read vol. 9. This one is a continuation and little details will escape you and will not really make sense. Otherwise the story is an very good and I enjoyed it except for the twist. That was predictable as soon as the villain got introduced. Otherwise, I thoroughly
enjoy the story. Lusty Texas is a fun and enjoyable series.

This was a great story. I had been a little worried about Richard and his so called lack of social skills but it really wasn't a problem. The way that Trevor, Kevin and Richard coaxed Maggie out of her shell was very sensual and very readable and just overall thoroughly enjoyable.
