Blending fact and fiction, this tale of adventure is set in 1940, just after the Germans invade France. It follows two British officers who parachute into the country in an attempt to rescue a French aircraft designer, a man whose designs could decide the fate of the war.
Split into 6 parts, this account of one of the darkest times of World War 2, told through the eyes of two British airmen, is a rip roaring tale that will have readers eagerly turning the pages right through to the end.
At roughly 9,000 words, Part 1 of the action/adventure serial known as Last Plane out of Paris, is an enjoyable action packed read.

Paul Moxham's Last Plane out of Paris series was great! I have read all six books in the series and look forward to reading more from this author. "Attacked," is the first book in the series. It introduces two young Britsh Officers who fly into France to rescue a French aircraft designer, whose designs could help England win the war against Germany. Join Bill and Jim as they find adventure and action from one page turner to the next. Can they succeed in their rescue with the Germans invading France? Stay tuned for each action packed book in the series.
Attacked! Part 1 Last Plane out of Paris by Paul Moxham May 1940 in France Having grown up near one another Bill and Jim had signed up for the Royal Air Force and have achieved great status. They are on a mission as the pilot is being shot at from the Germans. They were to land near the lake but didn't reach there. Jim and Bill were able to crashed onto the empty field. Jim was dragging Pete the gunman from the back of the plane. They are informed the Germans are close by and find where they were to rendezvous. They catch up on some sleep but are leery of the people they see as they eat. Bill locates the man in charge and they meet back later with him and others. Another plan is put into place and the men go to the town with them to help find a person and extract him to a safe location. They spend the night at a top agents house. There's just a feeling and he thinks something just is not right in this town... Lots of action and military talk as they conduct their business in a foreign country. Interesting to learn of parts everybody plays in this endeavor. Very lucky situations.
I found this to be a very interesting story myself about a war in France with the Gestapo and the Germans wanting to fight the French. There may have not been any illustrations within the manuscript itself but the author I thought had used the right words to illustrate this story and was able to keep a reader sitting on the edge of their seat, wondering what will happen next. These are my reasons for rating this as a five star ebook for young adults if I may recommend this for this age level especially or anyone old enough that enjoys reading war stories such as this without any violence. A clean story. I received this for free and in return, here is my honest review. Super work Paul! By Sunny
This short story was very fast paced fun to read. I lole the history of it being around the time of world war 2 talking about the nazis trying to invade
This book was pretty interesting at the beginning, but it was kind of boring and very short and sweet when you get into it. It does not explain everything, and I was bored to death by the continuous conversation.
I find this just as interesting and captivating as the other books. I just could not put the book down until I was finished. This book is recommended for everyone who loves brain adventure...lol!
Grammatical and syntax errors made it a bit difficult to get into properly. Once I got past the difficulty there, the entire book (all 6 chapters) were well done.
