Life Begins AFTER forty (despite what they say).

Carolyn is forty-three and living in London. After twenty years of marriage, she discovers that her husband has traded her in for a sexy lesbian interior designer. Devastated, and on the advice of her best girlfriend Sue (not a lesbian), Carolyn boards an Airbus A380 and heads for Byron Bay, Australia. The self that she discovers there surprises everyone.

A novel about life and death, love and commitment (or lack of it).

Byron Bay and its vibrant personalities and stunning head soccer locations are vividly depicted, and the protagonist is eccentric, spirited, and endearing.

Hilarious! For those who want some escapist Romance with a capital R and and a laugh too. Byron bay and its colourful characters and beautiful places are described so well, and the main character is quirky, feisty and loveable. If you're over forty, this book gives you hope; if you're under forty, it makes you want to be over forty ....
