He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics in 1989 from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, where he was one of the three founders of the Tufts Amalgamates, a co-ed acapella group. He earned his MBA in 2005 from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia while working in management at defense contractor Northrop Grumman. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance in 2011 from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Everett was married on February 6, 1993. He and his wife are the parents of five children. Everett appeared as Montagu in the 2008 film The Adventures of Food Boy. He currently teaches corporate and entrepreneurial finance at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.
