For Tyler Donovan, moving to the oceanfront town of Destin Florida meant a new job and hopefully new adventures with his lifelong friend and fellow vampire, Drake Landon.

The young doctors are set to take over Ty's fathers medical practice. The medical clinic also served another, bigger purpose, in a town filled with secrets. Trafficking of human blood proved quite a lucrative business but when things didn't add up and the clinic experienced shortages, it was up to them to find the answers.

Everything seems to be going along as planned until one night Ty meets his sexy next door neighbor Narissa in the most unusual way. He falls fast for the hot marine biologist only to find Narissa is keeping hidden secrets of her own.

Short story with all the ingredients, vampires, bonded mates, mermaids, Gods, mystery, romance and hot steamy closet sex.
But who is stealing the blood from the clinic? I do hope we will get a sequel soon.

This is the first published work I read by this Author. This is a unique story and I enjoyed it SOOO much. I didn't review books when this first was release. This is a GREAT story. I knew even back then what a Super Star Kindle Alexander would become!! We all did. My how Kindle Alexander has grown. From this wonderful book to greatness!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!

This was a very fun read with wonderful characters and an unpredictable story - which is rather refreshing and often difficult to find when reading this genre. I found myself expecting and wanting the story to move in one direction, but was pleasantly surprised when the author took the characters someplace new. I love the main characters Ty and Drake, and I must know what happens next. I found Ty's reaction to Narissa shocking (in a good way) and wonderfully told. There are plenty of intense moments that build to a very heated and passionate scene, followed by more of the unexpected, making me fall even deeper in love with these characters. I'm very excited to see where this will lead, and who else we will meet along the way. And, have I mentioned Drake yet? DRAKE!
Great storytelling Kindle Alexander! I will be anxiously waiting for the next book.

It was a pretty interesting start with these two guys as vampires coming into a sunny Florida state, just being best friends. Ty saw his bond mate and completely fell in love, giving her that bond, wanting to be completely bonded with her. It was a pretty good read once you really get into it.

This story was different then I was expecting but it was an alright read. Not the best but definitely not the worst.
