When Sophia escapes her foster home and settles on a small town in Texas, she doesn't expect to squat in a ranch cabin during the off-season to survive. However, when ranch manager Marshall finds the spitfire in his cabin, he can't help but be drawn to her. Sophia has a thing for older guys, and Marshall's checking all her boxes. He tries to keep his distance, but his Little Felon has him giving in. He just needs to get her out of his system. But when her past catches up to her, Marshall realizes he's all in for the temptress. Can they still have their happily ever after?
Steal back your money from your foster family, catch the next bus out of town, settle in a small town, squat in cabin, and find yourself the next Mrs Broody Rancher? One ticket to Ridge Valley, please! Sophia's out there living her best life, and Marshall is fighting tooth and nail for his sanity. Poor guy didn't know what hit him. Although he's just as guilty as she is in this insta-lust, fast burn, whirlwind romance. I enjoyed book two, but learning more about the Wilder family of Wild Thorn Ranch in this story was delightful. Their antics crack me up, and I'm so ready for everyone to get their happily ever after. Bring it on!
