When Lucy Paterson comes back to her home town of Bulla Creek to make a dutiful visit to her father who is recovering from a broken leg, she is still stinging from the double betrayal of her boyfriend cheating on her with her best friend. Plus, she is bitter and confused at just having learned that she was adopted. She had become a doctor like her father because she believed medicine "ran in her blood." Now she doesn't know who she is. She is in no mood for a serious relationship. Same for Marco Rodriguez. He left Argentina for a new life in Australia after his wife walked out on him and their son. She had never wanted a child, especially not one with cerebral palsy. Marco is fiercely determined not to let Iggy get hurt again. But there is work to be done. Lucy's father and Marco were partners running the Bulla Creek medical clinic. While Lucy's father is laid up, Marco is pulling double shifts. Surely Lucy, being a qualified doctor, could help out for a while. Of course Lucy and Marco work seamlessly together. Of course they are also mutually attracted. Of course the kid is just stinkin' adorable. Will Lucy and Marco be able to resolve all their emotional issues in time to discover that they belong together?

My Blog: HarlequinJunkie Romance Reviews

‘Letting Go With Dr. Rodriguez’ is a beautifully crafted romance that is sure to tug at your heartstrings.

Fiona Lowe is a genius at writing multilayered storylines that mesh seamlessly with each other to create a beautifully emotional read.

There is more than one story to be told here and each one is addressed beautifully – Marco’s fierce love for his disabled son, Lucy’s strained relationship with her dad, Lucy’s soul-searching and at the heart of it all Marco’s and Lucy’s romance.

‘Letting Go With Dr. Rodriguez’ has so much emotion and depth attached to it, this book is about love and family bonds, of small towns with big hearts and even bigger relationships.

I loved reading this book, you are probably gonna shed a tear but you are also gonna smile and cheer when it all comes together at the end. A book I would highly recommend.
