While the book provides a great overview of major events in history, I can't help but notice that Islam is depicted positively and Christianity almost overwhelmingly negative. I get the feeling that the authors are only telling one side of the truth.

This was a really solid text and I appreciated the online format with youtube videos attached, and the accessibility of it being on Openstax.
Some of the videos were really goofy which was funny. I also liked all of the images included. I think whats taking it down is that it has so much to cover and limited page count so it has to condense and jump around. I liked the focus on non western civilizations.
