After seven years, I'm coming home. Studying in London was an amazing experience, but was it worth it? That's the question I keep asking myself. It cost me a lot. It cost me Colin Hill. I've been in love with that boy since the first time I saw him in grade three. I thought that breaking up with him before college was the right thing to do. But now, I'm not so sure. Because I'm back in town and I forgot how special it feels to have the big grump look at me with such possession in his eyes. I've forgotten how incredible it feels to have his strong hands on me. To have his arms wrapped around me. I forgot it all. But it's all coming back now. Stronger than ever. I just wish he felt the same...

My least favorite of the 5 books. I don't mind second chance romance, but I felt like this one was too forgiving?
Colin got left and broken up with by Molly 7 years ago when she decided to move to LONDON to pursue her career. She never asked him to come with her and just dumped his ass while he has said he would have followed her, and her reasons were that he was meant to stay in the mountains?
He forgave her too quickly and I would have appreciated a fight or some angst before they fell back into a relationship...and yes I know this is a novella but still lol
Also, the dual V thing would have been great if it was not a second chance romance, I think in this case he needed to get over her and have her work harder for his affection instead of everyone knowing he was a virgin waiting for her.
Honestly, I might be taking this book too seriously considering it’s supposed to be fun and not life altering.
I am loving the Greene Mountain Boys Series. The men are hot and possessive, and the mouths on them are FILTHY!
𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝒹𝒾𝒹𝓃'𝓉 𝒷𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓀 𝓊𝓈, 𝒷𝒶𝒷𝓎; 𝓌𝑒'𝓇𝑒 𝓊𝓃𝒷𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓀𝒶𝒷𝓁𝑒.
Molly wanted to pursue her education, which meant moving to London, where she would have to leave behind her boyfriend Colin and break his heart. Seven years later, she is back and wants a second chance. She knows Colin is the one, but he is still hurt and upset with her.
𝐼 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝒸𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝒽𝑒𝓇 😻 𝑜𝓃 𝓂𝑒.
When an accident involving Molly happens, he goes to rescue her. Will they be able to give this relationship a second chance?
What does it say about me that I love a heartbroken man? A man who feels his feelings with his whole heart. Also god damn Olivia! You’re killing it with these covers. I literally got lost in that grumpy glare.
I wish this was a full length novel! I wanted more of Colin and Molly’s history and the yearning for each other, maybe even a scene of their breakup. Anyway, this was a good one!
Story: Molly (h) returns to Green Mountain after leaving years earlier to study abroad, breaking her boyfriend’s heart in the process. Grumpy mountain man Colin (H) has never gotten over Molly and is unsure of revealing his feelings for her, but when a mountain accident has Molly in need of rescue, Colin comes looking for her. Ultra-hot and steamy second chance romantic quickie with plenty of heat, minimal angst, and a sweet dog.
Audio: The narrators did a good job with this story. The audiobook uses two narrators, a male narrator, and a female narrator, depending on whose POV the story is being told from. Patrick Zeller and Kit Swann both do a good job voicing characters in a way that captures their tones and emotions.
Quite entertaining, first laughing at the bartender scene, then happy tears, then rolling my eyes at the naughty bit in the forest while she’s dealing with sprained/rolled/popped ankle that’s supposed to be extremely painful… BUT then I’ve completely melted when he thinks/says to himself “I lean down and kiss her soft tasty lips. I’ve done this a thousand times but it never loses its magic.” 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 Just wonderful 💟💟💟💟💟 + 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Sometimes, the whole cherry thing is not even believable anymore, but this one works well somehow. What I dislike about most of these is the "good girl" talk...ugh! I have daughters now, and I see it as the worst thing you can say to a grown woman in the middle of things. I don't like it. Spoiler alert.... he's also a cherry carrying "good boy" in this one....why is he not a "good boy" to her "good girl", I'll tell you why? Because it's creepy. Please stop this, for the love of all things! The author doesn't overdo it with this one, so I was able to imagine another phrase in there. Other than that, the storyline is believable, and the hot scenes are super steamy.
Giving up Colin for seven years?! Are you freaking kidding me, this girl was DUMB in that regard. You could not have paid me to give up Colin. They had been together since elementary school and she went to London to study to be a vet, did she ask Colin to go with her? NO! Did she ask Colin to do a long distance relationship? NO! Did she ask Colin about his feelings and what he wanted? NO! Instead, she broke up with him, crushing his heart and soul and then came back when she was ready, SO selfish!!

Colin and Molly are a very wholesome couple, with great chemistry and even though they broke up for a few years so that she could pursue her veterinary education, got back together and had a happily ever after.
The smut is only slightly cringey, but I forgive them because they fit well with each other.
My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
This is a role reversal, this time the girl breaks up with the guy, cause she thinks she knows best, and leaves him. We always pile on a heap of hate for the guy and feel sorry for the girl as she pins away for him, well this time it’s the girl I’m hating on and feeling real sympathy for the guy. The only reason this was a 3 star is because she didn’t turn into a hoe while attending university abroad, they are both virgins, they waited for each other. (2 stars for Colin, 1 for dual virgins, 0 for Molly)
Molly leaves to attend veterinary school in London, she breaks up with Colin since she knows he doesn’t like the city, leaves him for seven years. My questions: are there no veterinary school in the states? Are the Brits doing something different for animals that Americans are not so she had to go across the ocean for school? Her character really irritated me, she was back but I didn’t feel her love for him like I felt his for her. I didn’t feel she missed him as much as he missed her, especially since her missing him is her own fault. She comes to see Colin when she returns to the US, he doesn’t give her a warm welcome so she thinks:
It’s weird knowing someone for so long, and then all of a sudden, you don’t know them at all. I can still remember how warm and comforting those big arms felt wrapped around me and now they look like foreign objects. How can something that was once so safe and inviting look so cold and distant? How can all that magic just disappear?
It disappeared because you killed it!!!
Then this poor guys friends show up where they are and spill all his secrets, he constantly talked about you Molly, never dated, still a virgin!! Some friends. He leaves and the next day Molly goes on a hike and gets hurt, her mother frantically calls search and rescue, which Colin heads up and he goes to find her. Seeing her hurt and upset he forgives her and while carrying her down the mountain they tell each other they are virgins and then stop to have their first time, on the forest floor. All is forgiven and they are back together and he even helps her set up her mobile vet clinic. Epilogues two years later with a daughter and twenty years later with a brick and mortar vet clinic and Colin still a big softy for his Molly. I felt like he forgave her to quickly, she said sorry and I shouldn’t have broke up with you, he says no I should have come after you, blah blah blah. Never warmed up to selfish Molly.

When Molly left to study abroad seven years ago it broke Colin's heart. Now Molly has returned and is afraid she lost the best thing that ever happened to her by leaving him seven years ago. Can Molly be the sunshine Colin needs to chase away his grumpiness?
Another incredible read in the Greene Mountain Boy series. I absolutely love Colin and Molly and how they create a wonderful life together. I am a huge fan of this incredible series. Olivia always delivers that perfect five-star read.
Grumpy in The Mountains is the story of Colin and Molly.
Tropes: Big grumpy mountain man with a gruff demeanour and so mf possessive Hot beautiful cute, pretty and innocent heroine Second chance Childhood friends to lovers in the past Insta love Double virgins HEA and kids, only one mentioned is cute little Stacy.
So she had to leave her small town to study and become a veterinarian and then comes back after finishing and straight away goes to Colin's house and mind you they dated before she left and I'm guessing with no word to Colin about it or if he wanted to come with her. So she returns and he's all cold and grumpy and she has some play time with Charlie who is a rescue dog since Colin's job is to work with search and rescue. She tells him that she's going to be at the bar and to come if he wants to and he's like I'm busy but deep down he's jealous asf at all the men who are going to be staring at her so he tries to distract himself but fails and gives in and goes and she's talking to a bartender to order her drink and Colin thinks it's some guy trying to hit on her so he like picks the guy up and in the end owes him a marvellous tip and earns a spit in his beer. They chat till his mates Aiden and Julian decide to interrupt and turns out mans is a virgin and so is she. Things get weird when he realises that she isn't his anymore and he gets up and leaves. The next day she decides to go for a walk in the forest to get away from her bickering parents and sprains her ankle to which her mother calls search and rescue and Colin is on it with Charlie and they find her and they have this whole talk and this man claims her on the ground like god OMFG so hot🥵. She lives with him the next few days and he finds her an old ambulance for her vet sort of start up and helps her renovate and a few years later she has a daughter named Stacy and is delivering and helping all kinds of animals. 20 years later they have 3 beautiful girls and this man is head over heels for her since the first day when they met in elementary. Smut scenes were awesome. Stacy was such a joyful baby like so cute ngl.
Idk what to feel about this novella. Had I known this was a second chance romance, I probably won't read this. It's a me thing and I'm just not a fan of that trope.
Molly broke up with Colin and went away to London to be a veterinarian for 7 years. Once she's done with her studies she comes back to their hometown and goes to see Colin first. I'm conflicted with my reaction towards her, on one side I understood the need to study abroad because that was her dream, but then I'm also annoyed that she left Colin because she thinks he'll be miserable in the city. When she came back I didn't feel her sincerity when she apologized to him.
Colin changed after their breakup and became this grump who disliked people so much. He was hurt yet still pining for her. Maybe he was just a better person because he accepted her quickly and didn't give her a hard time earning him again.
The other thing that made this tolerable aside from Colin was the fact they were both virgins. They couldn't imagine doing it with someone else and deep down they were hoping to rekindle what they had.
Overall, this was an okay read and only because of Colin. He was such a beautiful person and the way he saw what they went through as some sort of needed stepping stone just to be where they were was just so adorable to read. I'll leave this review with one of his lines that show how understanding person he was.
"The past few years were only a blip in our long journey together. A footnote.”
H/h- Colin and Molly POV- 1st person dual Genre- Mountain Man Romance Heat- Vesuvius. And they do the things, name the parts, and use all of the words that start with a C. Series? Y Cliffhanger? N HEA/HFN? Y Triggers- explicit erotic content Tropes- Childhood Sweethearts, Double V Cards, Grumpy/Sunshine What I liked- steamy hot with moments of sweetness. What I didn’t- nothing. This is an Olivia T. Turner book, so you know that steamy scenes, an OTT alpha male (usually with a breeding kink), and a HEA are promised. Verdict- delivered as promised. There’s not a lot of plot or character development in this book, but that’s not what you expect from an OTT book. But this book is fun, entertaining, and stress-free. Perfect for an escape.

The latest installment of Olivia T. Turner's wonderful Greene Mountain Boys series is Grumpy in the Mountains, a steamy second chance romance. Colin and Molly were inseparable from the moment they met in third grade - until she left him on Greene Mountain to go study in London. Now back home to begin her veterinary career, Molly's first stop is Colin's mountain cabin, and his reaction is as icy as a snow-capped mountain peak. Will Colin thaw enough to give Molly a second chance, or have these two star-crossed lovers missed their shot? A swoon-worthy hero and a sweet and sassy heroine make this entertaining and steamy second chance romance a must-read.
