May 6, 2024I feel like people who give 1-star reviews should be obligated to say why it sucked in at least one sentence. ;) Mostly for amusement, but crucially for context. Haven't read this, unlikely to, but here's what Books for Keeps (2 May 1980) has on it:
It was one of two runners-up for the 'Guardian Award for Children's Fiction (presented by the Guardian newspaper)', losing out to Vandal, and mentioned alongside Meg and Maxie a.k.a. The Dark House of the Sea Witch
