Many of the archaic Zen philosophies were simplified....A good book to start with zen philosophies

This book developed my character. Gave me a different perspective about life. Calmed me to the core. Made me to understand life. Preached me Empathy. In many of my situations i remember any one the stories in this book and relate it to my current situation/circumstances. I owe a lot to this book. It brought me Inner peace.
