Face is the index of mind. When things go smoothly as per your plan, your face will be as calm as still water. But when things go chaos, a pebble or a rock is pelt on your thoughts and the turbulence shows on your face. There is a completely different perspective to the same scenario. If your thoughts are still, there is a possibility that they become stagnant and eventually rot. So the best remedy is to keep your thoughts flowing. Only when we empty our cup we can give space for new thoughts. How to be still (having a calm face) and still keep flowing (thought)? It's quite a thing, isn't it?
