I absolutley DESPISE this book. There are no likeable characters, the plot is going nowwhere and half the time the author forgot what he wrote!!! Dont waste your time reading it.

I'd read this book when I was in secondary school and I'd liked it so much that I wanted it for my own. I searched and searched for 3 years before I finally found and purchased it. I re-read it and found that my school copy had the ending missing so that turned out really well. I'm planning on re-reading it soon for a project I'm thinking about.
I personally think it's one of those stories which transcends all time and it's beautifully written. This is definitely one of my absolute favourite books of all time and I treasure the book always.

It's a sweet story about a young love between people from different social classes which was abnormal for the time. Highly recommend as a light read in Maltese
