A Young Adult Paranormal Romance Novel

Constance High School is for the privileged, but hides a well-kept secret. While its day classes serve a very human student body, its night classes teach an eerie vampire presence. Adrienne Stahl, the principal's daughter, and the most popular "human" girl, is attracted to Xavier Kristofferson, the "star" vampire, although she already has a human boyfriend. However, there is a "deadly" side to this supernatural attraction, as Adrienne soon discovers. On her 18th birthday, mysteries and secrets are revealed, secrets which will change the course of her life.

Hmm, well how to rate this book. The first few chapters made me want to abandon the book and just leave it unfinished. My mind was screaming at me how this is so stupid, immature that I shouldn't bother with it. Around the half of the book it got better but not by much. By the end we can see that Adrienne is growing but to be honest she still annoyed me so much that I felt sorry for poor Xavier for being tied to her. I didn't like her from the beginning till the end of the book even though she got better.
There are few things that bothered me: Xaviers father is dying and they all behave like they couldn't care less; (he was attacked and they did nothing about it); Adriennes mother gave her life for her and we couldn't see the girls feelings on it. Mostly she behaved like a spoiled brat, slutt, and no I couldn't see that she was reasonable as a person. If there is a sequel I can't see myself reading it. I had hope that this would be an interesting read, sadly I was very disappointed.

The book makes me think that the author is very young and that she has potential.

This book sounds like the Japanese Manga Vampire Knight. I can't wait to read. :)
