William has recently lost his wife and shows signs of becoming severely depressed. His friends talk him into going to a medium with the special ability to talk to the dead...not through her, but through a rotary-dial phone she has possessed for many years. Apprehensive and hopeful, William visits the medium and is thrown into a supernatural world beyond anything he could ever comprehend.

William tries to call his decease wife Melanie via an old phone provided by a psychic named Sarah. He comes to realise that soulstealers took her. Can he free her? It's a funny little story combining science fiction with horror giving the subject 'call to the other side' new aspects. Overall I liked this story.

I read this book because it is free. It's an attempt at horror and suspense. The main character reactions did not make sense to me. I don't recommend reading this book.
