Waking up in the long-lost Library of Alexandria, Killian Adeche of the Rejects Pack, and Moira DeSandra of the Oregon Pack have no idea who or what they are—they only know there is no way out, and they’re not alone in the dark. Moira and Killian journey further into the fantastical world of the Library as they attempt to put the pieces together and discover amazing secrets and a love that seems fated. But when warlocks attack the Library, Killian and Moira must draw on the wolf powers they’ve only just discovered and trust in their love for each other to help the Librarians defend the Central Branch. But as their memories begin to return and the warlocks threaten the existence of the entire Library, Moira and Killian discover that while they may be fated mates, they may also have to choose between their own desires and what’s best for their packs.

The second book in the Rejects Packs series and Killian was a fantastic sequel to Hudson and Killian Adeche and Moira DeSandre wake up in the long, lost library of Alexandria with no idea of who, what, why or where they are. Turns out the library didn’t didn’t burn to the ground as history would have us believe, the Fae merely hid it from a world that didn’t appreciate it but like the mythical Brigadoon it magically reappears every so often. With warlocks hot on their heels and the suspicious Fae to deal with, all Killian and Moira have to do is remember why they are there before it’s too late.

In an action packed adventure with fantastic characters in Killian and Moira complete with some great dialogue as they try to figure out why they keep turning furry and how to recall their missing memories, this book continues the story arc of what really happened during the war when the destruction of the Strumvolke led to a supernatural massacre and hopefully prevent it from happening ever again. I just wish there had been more of a definite conclusion for the hero and heroine’s romance here.

This is another very good read in a truly inspired series. That being said, I must admit that I am left with split thoughts about it. To start this is book two in a series that to get the most out of you need to start at book one and read through because there is an overarching storyline playing out. That's ok though because the characters are intriguing and the story complex and addicting, kind of along the lines of a big budget blockbuster movie series but better. Lol So anyway, this entry does deliver all the action, intensity, adventure, danger, emotion, humor, excitement, drama, heart, steam and twists that you could want (and maybe one that you won't be thrilled with). It kept me glued to the pages but left me felling unsatisfied and unhappy. I'm still eagerly looking forward to book three, still desperate to see how the overall story plays out, and now I'm hoping that I somehow, I get a resolution that just makes this book set better with me. This is my freely posted, frank review.

" A Stunning 5-star plus shifter Romance "

Each book is so much fun to read. The characters are unique and interesting personalities.
Killian is a sexy wolf shifter. Each one in his pack had been lone wolves. Except Pellos who was an orphan human. His alpha Alekos sends Killian on a quest. The quest is to find the information. On how to change a human into a werewolf. The quest leads him to the fae library of Alexandria. There he meets the sexy she wolf Moira.
Moira herself had also been sent by her pack to find the transformation information. When she gets to the outside of the library. She discovers Killian being attacked by Warlocks! They make it inside the Library. Only they have a huge problem, they have both lost their memories. At first the only thing they remember is each others names. They both feel that they are fated mates!
The inside of the library is nothing like they have seen before!

Will they get their memories back? Can they find the information they came for?
This series is exciting, funny, thrilling, and very scorching hot!

A wonderful, imaginative adventure
Bethany Maines has the most wonderful imagination, almost the entirety of this story is set in the mystical world of the library of Alexandria. And what a world she has conjured up, filled with amazing characters and adventure. But this story is about Killian, and Killian finds his mate Moira running from the Warlocks in Tibet and in the doors of the library where they promptly lose their memories. What follows is their adventure together based on their assumption that they are a mated couple and have a history, just one they can't remember. A fabulous journey through different worlds, populated by fascinating creatures, where Ms. Maines's writing vividly conjures images in your mind’s eye. Looking forward to the next in the series to see what the future holds, not only for Killian and Moira, but the whole rejects pack.

Killian goes on what would be Hudson's dream mission and ends up under a forgetting spell and meeting his mate. Really the rest of the story is just as unbelievable and amazing as the adventure in Book 1. As stated at the end of my review for 'Hudson' It's been a while since I fell in love with a Paranormal Adventure Series like this. Having finished Book 1[Hudson] and then starting and FINISHING Book 2[*Killian*], I was prepared with Book 3 [Alekos].

Per my review of "Hudson" ... if Book 1 was the "best case scenario of what the absolute best version of The Mummy mixed with Indiana Jones, and The Librarian all rolled into one" then Book 2 is the best case scenario of Jumanji and Bridge to Terabithia mixed together. Just one after another. no page wasted.

Well I’m having a hard time writing this as I have the next book in the series sitting in my kindle yelling for me to read it. Killian and Moira are just WOW. This book as fabulous it was so funny at times then sad then dangerous and always compelling. I loved Cynog he was wonderfully innocent and awkward and so indearing all at the same time.
This book ends on a much steeper cliffhanger. It Carrie’s the story so much further and then it ended and Killian leaves Moira and you’re just yelling hey take her with you so you can talk it over and she can meet the Rejects but not what happened and now I’m dying to keep reading and hoping the cure works and Moira understands and all is well in the end.

Killian reminded me of an Indiana Jones type adventure, but with shifters and other supernaturals. Book 2 of the Rejects Pack series definitely exceeded my expectations!

It was funny, suspenseful, and action-packed. Plus, it’s set in a magical library *swoon* where we’re introduced to a colorful cast of characters that includes elves, fairies, dryads, sprites, and more. I loved the characters and the story with my whole heart.

Check out Killian if you like shifter romances, fated mates, instant love/lust, action, and suspense. Be warned this one ends on a cliffhanger.

I received an advance review copy of Killian for free, but I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Second book of the series. Suggest reading in order to fully enjoy it and not to miss any of the amazing series. I really am enjoying this series. This one brings us to the library but this isn’t like any library we will ever see. Full of wonders and dangers. Killian of the rejected pack and Moira of the Oregon pack will find way more than books. But the Warlocks may just destroy their adventure and the library. Lots of action and a romance but it does end in a cliffhanger. Definitely starting book three immediately.

This one got to me a bit bc I just found Killian to be so annoying! He seems very Whiny to me. The fact that when they lost their memory he was just so gung ho and boom! They’re having sex and then all of a sudden they’re mated but then worrying about if her pack will like him and Yada yada. So not liking him.

Hudson was so much better.

This is the second installment of this series and it gets better with each story. The author keeps the story going but switches it up each time so the reader isn't reading the same basic story over and over again. I'm still not crazy about the insta-love parts but the other aspects such as amnesia fated mates, nice twist. Iread it in one sitting and so can't wait for the next book!

I won a copy of Killian, which is book 2 in a series. I wish I had read book 1, as I felt I had missed something. Killian and Moria are interesting characters. The library they wake up in is magical and filled with other supernatural beings. There is adventure, romance, and suspense, fae, warlocks, and more. I enjoyed the basic premise of the story but did not like that it ended in a cliff hanger.
