Gionnie is a young girl, that got tired of being broke. Her tale isn't your average broken home, with a crack head for a mother tale either. She grew up in a two-parent household, with blue-collar working parents. However, living paycheck to paycheck wasn’t getting the job done. They were still just as poor as everyone else in the hood. Once, Gionnie meets a chick named Mecca, that’s tired of living under similar circumstances; they devise a plan to get money. In their quest for the American Dream, they have to hustle hard. There isn't anything they wouldn’t do; if the price were right. But, when one mission goes horribly wrong the price is now their lives. Together, they devise a plan that will get them more money than they have ever seen……If they can stay alive long enough to get it.

This was a really good read and the ending was the business. This book showed how money will break up friendships and kill you literally! Gionnie along with her bff Mecca are get money chicks...they have built a small empire setting out of town guys up and robbing all of them...Gionnie or Mecca doesn't need to do it because they both have good men in their lives Cal and Power...Cal and Power were best friends until something went down and now they are beefing...while that is going on, Power is losing money, losing his girl, and probably his life...there is a snake among the four and someone or all of them isn't going to come out alive! oh yeah I'm #TEAMCAL

My mouth is wide the hell open right now! Money is the Motive is definitely a five star read. Gi, Mecca, Power & Cal were all money hungry and would do anything for the almighty dollar. There was love, deception, karma & death! Gi was a trifling mess! Cal stole my heart from the time he showed up on the scene! There were lots of twists and turns, all leading up to a huge shocker! Definitely could not stop turning the pages. These four characters kept me on my toes. I'm hoping there is a part two:) Well done Ms. Arabia!

"Money Is The Motive" was a good read, it started off a little slow but the more I read, the more the author reeled me in. The story line was great and I would have never expected the book to end the way that it had. As close as Mecca and Gi were, I never expected the ultimate betrayal, lies, and the total greed. If your looking for a book that is full of suspense, betrayal, lust and deceit, you must read this book. The twisted ending was so unexpected and will leave you hungry for more!

This book was soooo good. From page one!! I could not put my iPad down. The story line was dope. Characters were well developed. Just when I thought I knew how it was going there was a crazy twist. Would definitely recommend this book. Gonna start part 2 now!

Unbelievable what money will make you do

This lady set up her life long friends and in the end got what she deserved. I hope there will be a a sequel to this book. All over the love of the wrong man, she thought she had it all.
