Rate this book
Edwin “Mo” Aguilera has been retired from the underworld for the past 5 years enjoying family life when tragedy strikes, pulling him back into the belly of the beast. He’s not alone however; his best friend Felipe “Boss” Ramirez willingly stands at his side, never afraid of a fight. The two grudgingly embark on the dangerous journey that in due course puts everyone they love in jeopardy. Shan Wilson is now a successful business man also having left the gritty street life of his past. His main focus is his family, chiefly his rebellious 17-year old son. Sincere loves the streets and the legendary reputations of his father and uncles. The teenager is determined to reach their status by any means necessary. His only problem is a father that will take it to those same streets with him, if it means saving him. With so much mayhem swirling in these families auras tragedy quickly comes knocking. Will it be Shan’s door that receives a knock because of an unruly teenager? Is it Mo who will finally be taken down trying to protect the things he loves more than anything, his wife and children? Or will fate be a cruel taskmaster and simply destroy life and love at will? Find out what happens when the smoke settles and the new day breaks.

If you haven't already done so, read the first book in this series Inconvenient Love so you can see how these characters started.

Wow, this book had so many twist and turns that I truly don't know where to start. The gang was all back together, Mo & Kinji and Boss & Tiana. The relationships between these four were really incredible. You could really feel the love and passion in those two relationships. There were quite a few new characters introduced that I quite know where they fit in, but it was all tied together really nicely by the middle of the book. Sincere was a force in this book. At first I was wondering why his story was being told, but he was the catalyst that really set this story a blaze. There were many things that were a shocker. I don't want to give them away, but after Sincere's climax, this story really goes on a whirlwind and you will not want to put it down. Shan & Success were also a really powerful couple. The things they had to endure, especially Success were really something else. The ending hints at another sequel which I'll be patiently awaiting because these characters are definitely not done yet.

Now that is how you write a sequel.

This book was lethal and made you go through so many emotions, I laughed out loud, got mad and pissed. Then cried, I felt their pain through it all. I love how tight they was and friends and family. They had each others backs to the end, EL did a amazing job with this story. She still left a sistah hanging, but that is find. I can’t wait to see what will happen next. Like who was at Kennedy door, what Kinji is going to about her sister callin about her mama? Will Boss be able to move on to new love? Just a few ?????? Lethal Love ( Love Series) This series is a must read.

Elizabeth you did me proud woman!! I loved it!! Mo and Boss are back, after being retired they are forced to come out of retirement to handle business. As usual, they did it with style. Kennedy is still a ride or die chick, I felt so bad for Success and I'm glad to see that Kinji has matured nicely. Now little Mj that's my boy, all I can say is the apple definitely didn't fall far from the tree and Sparkle was delightful. I was scared for a moment that Mo was not gonna be able to handle thing in his trademark style, however I should have known better. I love the way his mind works. Tone got what he deserved, however Voli, now that was worth its wait in gold. I thoroughly enjoyed his demise. Unlike most of the people who read the book, I couldn't shed a tear until the end. Boss is truly a class act, however Mo is and forever will be the MAN!! I can't wait to find out what happens between Storm and Mel, I just hope he doesn't disappoint. Cherish is such a sweetheart I hope there's someone in her future too, she really deserves it. Shan and Success have a really strong bond. Shan really is her strength and I glad she allowed herself to be vulnerable for him. I can't wait to find out if Riyah and Rogelio are able to work out their issues. I really think she might be good for him and vice-versa. Thanks Kr Bankston for allowing your characters to step in to lend a helping hand. They added a nice flavor to the mix. Now this is how you are suppose to write a sequel!! You give the reader what they need, while having them beg for more at the end of the story! Bravo Elizabeth you did it again!! You truly are awesome and one of my favorite authors!! Oh yeah before I forget....El,you know I'm gonna be bugging you about the next book right? LOL

OOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo Elizabeth, I laughed, I cried, I paused, I put the kindle down, I picked it back up again, I cried somemore, I laughed again, I cried again and then I came to the realization that these PEOPLE ARE NOT REAL, and that this is just a book. Boy oh boy but what an excellent follow up book if I ever read one. I love a book that causes me to have reactions, that makes me think, that makes feel a wide range of emotions. Ok so let me see if I can get through this without blowing the covers off. Ok first off all of the old gang is here from Inconvenient Love and it is excellent to see that they have progressed from where we last left them. Mo and Kinji are still holding it together, despite the fact that someone desperately wants to tear them apart. Shan and Success have their hands full with their now teenage children and will deal will be dealt a inconsolable blow to their lives. Tianna and Boss are still making things work now that Boss has "gone legit", they too will have a significant cross to bear. There is nothing like the enemies of the past re-emerging to make trouble with the future. Boss and Moe and Shan and Rock will have to deal with their pasts to get to their future. Go get this book, excellent read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough about this book. I'm truly left speechless. It was a pleasure reading Lethal Love. Of course, I fell in love with "MO" all over again. Lethal Love made laugh, cry and curse at the same. Without giving the story away, it was a nice surprise and sweet treat to see some familiar characters. Althrough, I'm not really into the romance/love stories but I must say reading Lethal Love changed me a little bit. This particular story gives the reader sense of love and sacrifice from more realistic point of view. It's not all strawberries and cream.
The twists, turns and surprises kept excited me and wanting to read more.

Elizabeth LaShaun you did it. I enjoyed myself. Couldn't put the book down.
I'm already excited about what's next to come. Don't leave us hanging too long.

Lethal Love is the second book in the Love series. I absolutely loved this book; it is such a good read. It grabs you from the very beginning and you won’t want to put it down. The two main couples from the first book are back. They both are going to have to go through some things and you will be very surprised by what happens. You will also get caught up with Shan and Success and the things that they will have to get through in the book. This book had me laughing, crying, and very surprised by the things that happened throughout the book. I love, love this book and I am so looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Wow this one was a really good read. Lots of surprises and wtf moments. It took me a while to get into it since it was a long time since I read about the characters but after that it was just as if they never Left. All the couples have some kind of drama happening from Kinji wanting to go back to work to Tianna and her boo not communicating. but the ones I felt it for the most Success and Shan, they had to endure something very heartbreaking. It definitely got emotional. and then there were other moments that will have you reaching for the Kleenex and leave you in disbelief.

Overall you want to read this one. Elizabeth has done it again.

Once again Elizabeth did not let me down. I read this book in one sitting and did not put it down until the entire book was completed. I was so happy to catch up with Mo and the crew, but I was unprepared for some of the things that took place. My emotions were all over the place. I literally shed some tears throughout the book. This is a must read and I can't wait to see what happens next in Kinji's world!
