In appreciation for a job well done, Stella James’s boss sends her a Pet – a human Pet. The mysterious Tino arrives equipped with a collar a leash and an erection, and Stella quickly learns that keeping Pets, especially this one, is extremely addictive. Will a chance meeting with reclusive philanthropist, Vincent Evanston, who looks an awful lot like Tino, but couldn’t be more different, double Stella’s pleasure or just be double trouble?
For K D Grace, penning a good tale is a physical act. When she’s not writing, K D is veg gardening or walking. Her creativity is directly proportional to how much soil is under her fingernails or how quickly she wears out a pair of walking boots. She’s having a mad affair with a pair of kettle bells at her local gym and an even madder affair with a stainless steel pole in the pole fitness studio just across the street. She’s fascinated with mythology and fairy tales, which inspires many of her stories. She loves to read. She loves anything that gets her out of doors. But she loves writing a story best of all.
Voted ETO Best Erotic Author of 2014, K D is the author of sixteen novels and multiple novellas and short stories for multiple publishers. She also writes romance under the name Grace Marshall. At present she is excitedly publishing her Medusa’s Consortium urban fantasy series. The first three novels, beginning with In The Flesh, are now available.
The book is not was I expected. It was better than I thought. The pet shop rents pets.Pets aren't animals. Are people who are kind of like whores but they act like pets. They don't speak, you have to feed them and do whatever you do to your pets. I didn't liked it in the begging but later it seemed to get better.
This is the first of three in a series and yet I find I also have this as a book. This annoys me when I pick up a freebie, then buy follow on episodes of the series and then find I have the compilation as a novel...do it time and again...guess I need be more careful.
I enjoyed this and want to read on with the series/rest of the novel.
Love the idea of Tino and want a pet like him, how much pleasure and fun.
Still not sure where this is going and if Vincent is Tino or sibling...sure to find out soon.
The company is also a puzzle...it has The Pet Shop but seems to be linked to setting up habitat reservations for natural world. How these link is not apparent to me.
The erotic sex scenes with Stella and Tino are the best bits of this book/series so far, see if story line develops a plot too as I read on.
Three stars seems low but four it isn't quite at so 3.5 stars for me.
Holy panty wetting story! A 3.5 star puppy play book. Where is this Pet store because I need to buy a membership. Ms. Grace creates some of the hottest sex scenes. This story is no exception. This first in the trilogy is an erotic feast.
Stella is gifted a human male puppy. She's hooked and wants to spend more time with Tino. The delightfully written tale moves at a good pace. There is also an underlying mystery which causes me to be frustrated. What is this Pet Shop? How does it relate to this company? Who is the Boss? Hopefully book two will answer the questions. Recommended for those who enjoy puppy play.
Well, don't expect any resolution to the mystery her boss brings up on the first page.... this is part of a book! A different kind of kinky erotica that is for sure, kind of ridiculous really; falling into inst-love with a dog prostitute without ever having heard him 'speak' and he doesn't wear condoms, no thumbs? I got this one free, but I am not on board with paying $3.oo for both of the next two, that should have really been part of a complete book in the first place. I hate these ploys to fool you into buying a complete story:(
Not what I expected when I added this book as a freebie. But once I started it I couldn't put it down. I am not usually into pet-play books, but for whatever reason the byplay between Tino and the tightly wound Stella worked for me. As a pet, Tino isn't allowed to speak which makes it all the more interesting as the weekend moves along. A fun read that definitely made me re-assess my prior aversions to play stories.
I also found it aggravating when I bought the larger novel that this story was incorporated and that had not been made clear.
What a unique and novel idea. I was a bit worried the idea of having a pet would be a little creepy but it was not at all. The sex scenes were smoking hot, especially when they had breakfast, yum yum, delicious. I want a Tino ;)
