When Alley gets a message from Salvador Passerotti, the most influential man in the Burgh, for putting his daughter behind bars, Shane takes every precaution he can to protect her. Nevertheless, the other police officers down at the station think the rookie Shane is out of his depth, with Scarface having just posted bond until his trial and decide to partner him with Officer Jeter; a man whose so old school he does everything according to protocol.
Meanwhile, Alley has her own drama at school now that the other cheerleaders at Upper East High know that she had a role in bringing down Taylor and their other friends just before qualifying for states. Just when Alley thinks she can’t get a break a mysterious newcomer starts tagging her every move. With the help of her friends, especially Val whose determined to take down the whole mob if she has to, Alley discovers that everyone she trusts has been caught in a web of lies and that all the protection she desperately needs has been compromised.

I've been trying to put together this review for a long time now and while at one hand I truly know how feel about this book I somehow don't want to get all that out cause this series is something truly special to me. Honestly, I believe that we all are unique but how did Leah and Megan managed to create someone who is basically me goes beyond my mind.

With Uninvited I got into this story with not many expectations as I've not been a chick-lit lover myself, but I got delighted by this story and probably the #1 fan. When I first met these famous girls it was so interesting to see a mix of different personalities who care so much for each other. Then we met Shane and well I knew that this was something else. When things got a little bit complicated in Confiscated and the story developed with unexpected twists and turns I knew I was going to love it even more. Then only one question reminded - will Compromised follow the same way?

It most certainly did. The whole complexity of the story and the mysterious moment of it was amazingly done. It wasn't predictable and the whole idea had a great logic in it. Also we get to see character development and the romance between Alley and Shane which melted my heart. It was so deep and innocent at the same time. Truly enjoyable.

Well, I'm well aware that not everyone will love this story as much, but I dare say I'm a bit biased here too. Anyhow this is surely one of my favorite series and I'm going to get back to it sometime in the future for sure.

An amazing and perfect ending to an amazing series! Though I dearly loved each of the books in this series, I think that Compromised is my favorite. Why? For me, the characters have grown throughout the books and this one had a bit more depth, as far as the suspense/danger. – though there is still tons of humor and laugh-out-loud moments – as well as head shaking moments, lol. Compromised also had a few twists and turns that I loved.
As with the other two books in this series, the chemistry between Alley and Shane is steamy – I want a yummy Shane all my own! Their relationship has kicked up a few notches and there is an extra added antagonistic factor in this one!
Val is just as crazy as ever, though at the same time very endearing. Everyone needs a Val in their life!
In Compromised, Alley’s life is hanging by a thread more than it ever has. Someone wants to hurt her and it seems as though they will stop at nothing to accomplish their goal. Between trying to save Alley’s life and dealing with the predicaments that Val gets the girls into, Shane is ready to have a breakdown.
Though I was near tears that this series has come to an end, it did end in an incredibly satisfying way. I will truly miss Shane, Alley and Val! I hardly ever re-read a book, but I can honestly say that this series is one that I will revisit again. All the books made the stress and craziness of life disappear for at least a bit and allowed me to smile, laugh and disappear into the awesome world created by these two amazing authors. I cannot wait to read more by them in the future!

Soooo I absolutely love all the books that Leah Spiegel has written. I first read Foolish Games so then I had to find out the other books that she has written. That is how I came across the South Hills Sidekicks which was co-written with Megan Summers and I have to say that I loved this series.

Comprimised (#3) is the third book in the series. The other two are called Uninvited (#1) and Confiscated (#2). Alley and her friends are friggin' hilarious of how they keep fumbling up Shane's investigation.

This series had great tosses and turns in the story and I love the chemistry of Shane and Ally and am soooo happy with how it ended up. I would be totally cool with finding out more in the series even though I know it was only meant to be a trilogy.

I think Alley's best friend Val and all her antics are so bloody funny. If only we all could have a friend like Val to make our lives filled with so much joy and mischief.

I loved Shane and I think he deserves to go into my Book Boyfriend list. How Shane takes care of Alley just warms my heart and how he keeps her out of trouble is quite funny and awesome.

This book and this series was a great, quick and fun. I recommend it. I gave this book and the other in the series 4 thumbs up!

I thought that this book was awesome because it had some much action and drama in it. Ireally loved the new character of Junior in it because he added a little bit of spice to Alley and Shane's "relationship," and I liked seeing Shane's 'green side' come out. I also really liked Junior because he just played the man coming to save the "Damesal-in-Distress" part so perfectly and he as a character was just so hilarious, plus he had the whole good-looks, charm factoor, and money going for him too. I loved Val in every single book that I read but I really loved her in this book, how she was ditzy and smart, and how she kept questioning Shane's sexuality... LOVED IT!!! And i really hope that Leah Spiegal and Megan Summers pull it together one last time for a fourth book and talk about Shane's and Alley's relationship, and Alley going to college, and Val's new case with Junior, and they can even bring in Salvador Passerotti to be the big gang/drig influencer. But you guys definately need to do something, I mean there is sooooo much that you can write about.... PLEASE???????????? Oh yeah, the book was spectacular :)

AWESOME!!! I loved this, couldn't put it down. Leah Spiegel was nice enough to give me this book in exchange for a review. As soon as I received it I started reading and didn't stop until it was done. I loved the characters, Val's eagerness to "spy" but lacking any coordination cracks me up. Ally, scared for her life, was perfectly brave and scared at the same time. Shane (sigh) was yummy as usual. I really hope this isn't the end of the series, I would love to hear about what happens after high school.

Part of me wants to read it again, I don't want to leave the Burgh yet. Leah, I'm keeping my eye on you and when a new book of yours comes out I am so going to have to get it. Absolutely Awesome!!!
