When twenty-two year old Nicole Masters gets a highly coveted internship working for one of the largest advertising companies in the world, she can't believe her luck. But Jameson International isn't just any company. It's owned by thirty-two-year-old business mogul and celebrity, Red Jameson.

Red is known for his high flying lifestyle; dating models and hanging with the rich and famous.

The powerful billionaire can have any woman he wants, and the naive college graduate can't imagine making much of an impression on her new CEO. But when Red Jameson takes notice of her and invites her up to his secluded office one day, everything changes.

As it turns out, the powerful businessman also has a voracious sexual appetite, and it's been whetted by none other than Nicole herself. And Red needs to be in charge at every turn.

Nicole isn't just any girl though, and Red Jameson's shocked to find that the young intern is more than a match for him in a battle of wits and will.

For His Pleasure is a 30,000 word tale of lust, submission, power and ultimately--a love story for the ages.

If I had to label this review it would be: This series should have ended with this book.

Wow...this book was just...BAD! No way will I be finishing up this series. Red was crude and mean and Nicole just took it. And I'm sorry but throwing in an "I love you" doesn't make up for him calling her a slut.....twice! He treated her like a whore (as much as I hate that term)...that's what he did. This book was not sexy and didn't endear me to Red or Nicole. Beyond all the foolishness of Red and Nicole, the book happened at a break neck pace...which made me feel as if I was on speed.

For me, the story went something like this:
He interviews her...wants her...turns cold on her and kicks her out of his office...calls her and offers her the job...discusses the job with her...tells her that he wants her...demands she calls him sir...to which she does instantly...they proceed to have a clandestine "relationship" with him taking her to a seedy apartment where she is almost raped...calls her a slut (x2)...he spanks her and she loves it...*insert sex*...he turns cold again and doesn't speak to her for days...then he wants her again and she kowtows...*insert sex*...she demands a relationship and he takes her to a restaurant while she is dressed like a tramp...takes her back to the seedy apartment...*insert sex*...they go back to work and he ignores her...she gets mad they don't speak for two weeks...he misses her...he finds her in the grocery store...'apologizes' and she eagerly accepts it...he sweeps her off feet and flies her to Florida for a romantic getaway...*insert sex*...he tells her he loves her...*more sex*...*more break neck crazy*...he meets her parents...they hate him...he asks her to marry him...admits he bought the ring one day after meeting her...she says yes...the end.
Now, doesn't that kinda sound like a speed-high? Imagine reading it!

OH. MY. GOODNESS.
JUST... NO.

The first few pages was pretty okay. Made me want to keep turning and find out how the story would build (even though it's A LOT similar to 50 Shades). But when the characters skipped all the pleasantries and went straight to the hot scenes... it's kind of ridiculous and way unrealistic even in this crazy, liberated world we live in.

I mean, really? Saying "I love you" during the first sex? How did they ever get to feeling that feeling?

This book just lacks the building up of the characters and the story. I know it's less than 300 pages but it shouldn't be that quick-paced. Aside from this one looking like a cheap rip-off, it's like watching skipping a lot of parts when you watch a movie on DVD.

For His Pleasure makes 50 Shades seem like the best book out there and that's saying a lot because I always cringe reading Anastacia Steele always referring to her "inner self". Even if you loved 50 Shades, I'm not a hundred percent sure you'd enjoy this book.

I could tolerate 50 Shades but I don't think I can continue with For His Pleasure series. Total waste of time even though I read this in less than 2 hours, I keep saying sorry to my brain for having to endure that. UGH!

Wow - I really did not like this book. I question the age of the author because the writing and dialogue feels so high schoolish. The relationship (if you call it that) happens at whiplash speed and there is no character development.

Red is so confusing in his actions and behaviour and Nicole is simply very unlikable. She is immature and acts like a spoiled teenager. I don't understand AT ALL what these two see in each other.

There are references to a D/s relationship but then nothing happens other than her being tied up.

Oh and then there's the deep connections on their first night of sex and then'I love yous' on the second date and during such clinically described sex (not hot at all) - What the heck??? I realize that erotica and romance books are a lot about fantasy and you have to suspend some disbelief but there has to be some kernel of reality and believability.

I kept reading hoping that things would improve but they just got worse. I'm sorry to say I won't be reading the next in the series.

I hate to write bad reviews but this was simply awful! There was just no soul to the book at all. The reactions and feelings were so unbelievable it was laughable. The lead male Red (?) was a total jerk, not in a sexy domineering way but more in the way if your boyfriend treated you like that he would get a high five in the face with a chair! He didn't even seem attractive when described! And the lead female Nicole, well i quite liked her at times. Mostly when she was on her own! As soon as she interacted with any other character she was instantly dislikable. Her roommate was a bitch, her mum acted like she was 10, in fact i couldn't stand any of the characters.
I just wanted to put the breaks on and fill the story out. A lot! Such a shame.

This was a short quick read that I wanted more story out of. Nicole Masters is a 22 year old who gets as an intern who gets a more than she bargained for. Her boss Red Jameson is not sexy and young. I thought that Nicole was weak and needed to grow a backbone Red was an ass most of the time. Also this book didn't flow it was kind of hard to read in places. This was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am not sure if I will read the rest of the books in this series.

The beginning of this was promising, the writing was okay and I was looking forward to some hot chemistry between boss and intern. What I actually got after the 15% mark was a big old mess. There was no depth, no chemistry, no development. There was nothing to say why the hero liked the heroine. The Hero himself was domineering one second the next he was really sweet and then he was completely disinterested only to turn up days later declaring love. What was promising in the start ended up being a big waste of my time.

OMG. Where do I start?

This is one of the worst book I've ever read!
It simply makes no sense at all.

That man is an asshole. Look

"The way you're treating me. It's harassment. I don't need this job that badly, I can get another one"
"Oh, you're very sure of yourself"
"Sure enough"
"Well don't be. I can pick this phone and make a series of calls that will guarantee you never work in this industry again"

"I'm afraid, sir"
"I don't care"

"Lie down on your back, slut"

"I told you not to ask questions"

"He's my soulmate. I'm meant to be with him" WTF???

"You don't even know what you deserve. You're a child"
"I know that I should be treated with respect"
"Bullshit. Who told you that? One of your little teeny bopper friends?"

First time they had sex.
"I love you. I knew it from the second you walked into my office that first day."
"I love you too"

Her mom doesn't like him because he's a casanova (I understand her)
And then he's says yes, I had been with a lot of women blah blah blah until I met you Nicole *butterflies flying* *weird silence*
"Nicole, will you do me the honor of marrying me?"
"OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!"
:|
I'm sorry, how long have you known him?

Seriously, this story is horrible. WASTE OF TIME

I came across For His Pleasure by Kelly Favor on Facebook, it was recommended as a “what to read after the Fifty Shades series”, which I am a HUGE fan of. I love me some dirty reads but really love when there is a story to go with the hotness. Honestly I didn’t have the highest expectations for this novel when I started it. I figured by the title there wasn’t going to be much of a story… WRONG! LOVED IT! I love the character of Nicole Masters and Red Jameson. Nicole is young, naïve and spunky. Red is everything I look for in book boyfriend, mysterious, dark and hunky. The story is entertaining and kept me wanting more, I honestly couldn’t put it down. I am so hooked that I downloaded book #2 and #3 and can’t wait to start reading them. I love the fact that this is a nine (soon to be ten) book series, YAY! Kelly Favor has written a brilliantly hot novel without making it over the top crude. I LOVE a HOT dirty read but I don’t want to feel dirty reading if you get what I mean. If you are looking for something to keep you busy during these long dark fall evenings, I would start with book one of the For His Pleasure series. I am HOOKED N. 5

Nicole Masters, a college student who has landed a dream internship with a highly publicized advertising company, enters a world where her dreams are about to come true in more ways than one. Nicole somehow survives a very grueling interview process ending with the "big" boss himself, Red Jameson, CEO of Jameson International. He is "big" in every sense of the word. A young, successful entrepreneur who is now listed among the most eligible bachelors in the world. A man with a huge reputation with the ladies and a voracious sexual appetite, and Nicole has just aroused his hunger. Can she survive the heat, or will she have to vacate the "kitchen?"
This is a new author to me, and this was a very pleasant, erotic short story. The tale involves struggles with lust, submission, and power. However, it blends just the right amount of sweet, love story to make it the ultimate in an evening romantic read. Definitely an author that I will be on the lookout for and one whom I will recommend without reservation.

I'm not even gonna give this crap a star. This is the most ridiculous book I've ever read and it is so trying hard to be erotica or whatever that is. I can't believe that I've wasted my time reading this piece of shit. I can't even call this a book!!! The story was so unbelievable that you'll feel that no "thinking" had occurred when this was written. I'm sorry for this bad review but I know that I'm not the only one who felt this way.

One of my many followers on Tumblr decided to anonymously request that I read this book. He/she reckoned I'd like it because I read the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, but I can honestly say that this book was the book that made me want to run to Meg Cabot and cling on to her PG-13 books for my dear life.

Let me say this: BDSM relationships are just messed up.

This book screamed Fifty from the beginning. We have the clumsy female lead who is so ordinary that super rich (and into BDSM) CEO at an extremely shocking age can't help but get drawn to her. What's weird is how it progressed so quickly. There were parts where I was like...wait, what?

Oh and I wonder why the author couldn't have compiled all the book into a single book, or if not at least maybe shorten it into a trilogy! But it seems like each sequel has its own problem to deal with, so in a way, it's like you seem to get to know the characters for longer.

What kind of name is Red. Honestly.

That's all I can muster for now.

I hate to give anything only 1 star, but I just didn't find much to like about this story. The characters were confusing and inconsistent, the love scenes just okay, and the relationship dynamic completely turned me off. Red wasn't just dominant, he was rude to cruel, showing no concern for his partner's feelings. A physical response to dominant behavior isn't the same thing as enjoying a scene. When Nicole finally asserts herself, Red seems to abandon his dominant tendencies altogether. For both the submissive and the dominant in this story it is all at once or none at all; there is little true negotiation of their sexual desires, need for control, or the line between their sexual relationship and public relationship. I just couldn't get past Red's rude, almost emotionally abusive, behavior and then unexplained turn around in which he doesn't seem to need to exert any dominance at all. The one extreme to the other without a profound discussion or even just didn't make sense to me.

I agree with others saying it was written in a high school-ish way but it was a decent read. I was kind of surprised it was only 73 pages and really amazed at how much she crammed into those 73 pages. I would have preferred that it would progress slower than it did. It was a very hurried book. I was definitely surprised by sudden proposal at the end and I know that there are 4 other books so I'm very curious as to where else she can go with this story in the next 4 books. Will definitely continue the series out of curiosity. Definitely had similarities to the 50 Shades series.

At first I was thinking it is short, but after reading it & going right on to book 2 I didnt mind (I got book 1-9 at one time). So it was more like each book is a big chapter.
I have to say Im really glad I dont really take into count some people views as seeing some of them I was just shocked. Some people just need to go back to reading boring books.

I LOVED to whole series, yes at time I was mad, sad, worried, loved, hot, that is what books are meant to do make you feel and this series does that.
Im glad I read them and Im waiting for book 10 as it does really hook you into the story.

The book was too much for such a tiny read. Everything happened so fast and I found it absurd. In a month they got into a relationship level that other couples need months to reach. Also, everything was magnified. The main feeling of the book is silliness. Red was treating Nicole like she was a toy that he could disregard without a second thought and if I was in her place I would have slapped him and left right away. The end for me was too unbelievable.

The series is similiar to 50 shades of Grey, but it's a much better version of it. It was a page turner just like 50 shades! I recommend the series if you enjoyed 50 shades.

Um. Wow. I don't know that I have ever given an erotica book one star. Usually the book has at least one scene or one redeeming quality that makes me give it two. This book is really pretty bad. Nicole is somewhat interesting at first but this whole relationship is just unbelievable. It's nothing like FSOG. The only similarities to me were 1) he's ungodly rich and she's not; 2) he's into BDSM and has a playroom; and 3) he wants to protect her. Otherwise, it's nothing like it. The writing was fairly decent and it was well-edited, but the entire book was way too rushed. And the humiliation...ugh. Christian Grey was NOTHING like that in my opinion. I marked it for FSOG lovers on my shelf because it definitely was clearly inspired by FSOG, but sheesh...there are tons of better books out there that FSOG lovers would like better...such as Bared to You or any of the other books on my FSOG shelf. Very disappointing.

Didn't love this one - will hold off before reading book 2 - 10. Although it could have been more like Fifty Shades, it took a terrible detour when he was talking with her parents. I love the stories where the boss for the assistant (since I am one), but it needs to be more realistic (somewhat). You don't buy a ring after talking for 5 minutes and then ignore the "special" one for weeks or as your mood suits . . . disappointed, but will try and come back to the series to see if it gets better. Was hoping more for a story like in Because You Are Mine, Anything He Wants, or At His at least you started to like the characters in those.

This is the very first book that I stopped reading half way because it was SO RIDICULOUS and considering its a very very short book should tell you just what utter nonsense it was! There was no character development whatsoever and the relationship took off so fast with not a hint realism.

I honestly don't know how people can like this book and get hooked, its a total joke! Both of the lead characters were unappealing especially the guy 'Red' who when describe (in very brief detail) just sounded physically unattractive and sadistic.

Please people don't waste your time and money with this book! I would give it minus stars if I could!!!

Story started off okay then got ridiculous fast and didn't really improve from there. I want to say the ending got better, but I might just be being nice.

Nicole Masters is a 22 year old fresh out of college and lands an internship at a major advertising firm with Red Jameson as the CEO. Red is attractive, successful and all about control. Nicole instantly starts lusting and fantasying about Red. And for a person all about control, Red definitely didn't seem to have it.

There was really no plot or character development. . No sustenance to the story. Everything suddenly just happened and it was over. It was a quickie and will leave you very unsatisfied.

I originally purchased the book set on B & N for $2.99. I think several of the books were included. I enjoyed the stories but as a consumer I don't like being taken advantage of. I would have been more than willing to pay for the entire book(s) instead of giving me fifty pages or less. Yeah, I don't do this crap anymore. Give me the whole dang story or don't bother anymore. I also appreciate reviews which let me know I'm getting ripped off.

She's not the only author to make a living on her work, no excuse.

I thought it had very strong potential. It started nicely but then the end just seemed to appear very quickly and I didn't like how all of a sudden he was saying he loved her and he was proposing. It just doesn't seem to fit the relationship that seemed to be building during the book. It seemed like he would be dominant, which he is, but I didn't think that the love would build as quickly and randomly as it did. I'm reading the second one mostly out of pure curiousity. We'll see how it goes.

It kinda had a Fifty Shades feel to it. The male lead, Red, was a complete jerk and the women lead, Nichole, just seemed so pathetic. I guess it picked up some towards the end. I just wish we were given a little more insight about what made Red the way he is. Overall it was an ok read for a novella.

This story eludes to a D/S relationship but there is never a discussion. Every story that I have read that deals with D/S, there is a discussion between the characters. The main character, Red's, action are very confusing. I was getting whiplash. He was nice one minute, domineering the next and not in a sexy way like the author tries to get you to believe. Just all sorts of bad.

Red and Nicole

This book was not good. Too many errors and the pov changes were just off putting. The I love you's are thrown out for NO reason almost immediately and the dude is proposing after having spent 1 date and 2 sex session with the chick. Everything about this book bothered me.
