While Shepherds Watched

Richard Aumerle Maher

For those who would keep alive the religious and spiritual significance of Christmas, "While Shepherds Watched" comes with an especial appeal. It is the story of Mary, Mother of God, and of what she thought and felt about the meaning of the coming of Christ, that the author tells. Motherhood, Fatherhood, Brotherhood, and what they signify to mankind is his real topic. Mr. Maher always writes well, and in this volume he had the inspiration of a great theme.
