This is a fantastic book to see how Einstein reacted to interesting and sometimes mind-blowing questions by the author.
The author asked to Einstein over the period of more than one year questions like:
“Is there extraterrestrial life and if yes what would happen to mankind?”,
“What does Einstein think about hypnosis and a magician who claims to have control over other people’s will and physical body?”,
“What about the theory, if a being could be omnipotent in space and time flying through the ether?”,
“What about present science theories and future developments on the same subject and the subsequent improvements?”,
“Is the practical approach to science more viable than only the theoretical approach?”,
“What does he think of scientists of the past?”
Additional -for example- Einstein also talks about future use of sun-, wind- and waterenergy to fuel mankind’s hunger for electricity, and this happened in 1919!
There are many different aspects in this book, and -of course- most are related to physics, but there is much more to this book than meets the eye!
Einstein’s IQ and opinion about the world was extraordinary in many regards and this books is doing an excellent job helping the reader to give us an insight in Einstein’s intellectual world.
I rate 5/5.
