This book was just, I don't have words. It's time for Karma's story, and all the unexpected hits are heartbreaking and amazing. Amber did an amazing job on this book! I enjoyed being able to read this book. ❤️
Karma is a baddie and I am absolutely in love with her. I love her sassy, snarky mouth. There wasn't one moment where I wasn't thoroughly entertained by her. If you have been following along with this shared world then you know all about the Belladonnas. If you haven't then I highly suggest you start reading. This ragtag team of female assassins are a great bunch of girls. I love Karma's story. You feel a whole lot of emotions when reading this book, there's sadness, there's anger. There's some funny moments. And a whole lot of spice!
The story has Karma in a FWB situation-ship with a tattoo artist named Bryce. And I loved watching their relationship just blossom, especially with the push /pull, back and forth they kept going through. Karma has a best friend Lemon and when something happens, Karma is on a mission to get to the bottom of it all and uncover the truth of what happened. During her undercover stint, Karma meets these 3 guys, Brooks, Vin and TJ and the chemistry between them is absolute fire. Off the charts steam!
I absolutely loved the emotional rollercoaster that this book took me on. I expected the spice, twists, and action but I didn’t expect the heartbreak and tears I shed over this book. Amber Nicole definitely pulled on my heartstrings with this story!
I really liked Karma. She fights for those that she cares about and refuses to back down without getting the answers she deserves. I absolutely loved Bryce. Tattoos, piercings, loyalty and so much more. He is just absolute perfection!!! I liked the other members of Karma’s harem. They spiced this book up so much; they were fire!
If you enjoy tough/strong women with with unique killing methods and hot guys that includes some MM action then you need to read this book right away. I couldn’t put it down and still want more of Karma and her guys!
This is part of a shared world. You don't need to read the other books to read this one.
Amber Nicole delivers yet again. She has become a one click author for me.
Karma is part of a family of sisters that are known as the Belladonnas. They are assassins. Karma suffers a horrible loss that causes her to cover a teaching position to try and get revenge. While at the school, she meets Brooks, Vin, and TJ.
I love the relationship between Karma and her men. I was iffy about the book as Brooks, Vin and TJ aren't introduced until 60% into the book, but things are super fast paced and I grew to love them as much as I love Bryce.
If you enjoy MMMMF, a female assassin who is super snarky, and a good revenge plot, I recommend this book.
Really enjoyed this one. Karma really has my entire heart. She's definitely someone I want on my side. All of the guys are everything she deserves. They love and adore her. My favorite one is Bryce. I really loved how he never gave up on her and did everything he could to show her how much he means to her.
The plot itself was interesting and I did think that in a way it was solved quickly. I felt like the story focused more on her relationship with the guys then anything else. Even with that the plot did move and was solved by the end of the book without feeling rushed.
Definitely recommend this one but pls have tissues ready. A couple of parts Definitely broke my heart.
I could not put this story down. Karma is such a baddie and I absolutely love her. Also can we talk about Bryce because hot damn he was something else. Don’t let me forget about the tears I shed throughout some parts of this story. Also let me just briefly mention the three avengers because they provided some major 💥. I can definitely say I was not ready for this story to end and I will now need to take a short hiatus before starting something new.
Karma is a great read by Amber Nicole. It was written really well that I just couldn't put the book down. I enjoy all the books Amber writes and this is no exception
Karma is about a female assassin who lives with others assassins. She is a great femal lead Character in the book and I loved reading about her relationship she had with Bryce.
I won't give away and spoilers but you will be dissapointed if you don't pick up this great book and give it a read, you won't be disspoointed.
Karma is a fantastic read by Amber Nicole and has written this book so well. So many emotions whilst reading this story. I was crying and shouting. Karma is a female assassin using sweet treats as her deadly weapon. She meets hunky men and revenge is all mixed together into the story. Love all the spicy & steam from Nicole’s stories. Revenge is sweet with Karma. Highly recommend.
I absolutely loved this story. Karma is Amber Nicole's addition to the shared series, Dressed to Kill and it's my favorite. The stories in this series are standalones and don't need to be read in order. I love how we see two sides to Karma. She is so loving with her friends that no one ever suspects the she is a deadly assassin. He has great chemistry with her guys and they definitely bring on the heat. This story will keep you guessing and take you on an emotional ride. I can't wait to read more from Amber Nicole
I don’t even want to give it five stars because I threw my kindle lol
But listen … Cupcakes are deadly..
Karma a cupcake baking assassin ..
Karma is a BAB .. but when you grow up in the Belladonna family and with sisters like hers and the Man raises you what choice do you have .
If my bestie was murdered I would go hunting for the person responsible.
Karma is the smell of vanilla , oh so sweet but this book is anything but ..there’s so much spice, there’s love, there’s revenge and some really hot men.
Karma is written by Amber Nicole and is a contemporary romance.
💜 sassy FMC 💜 why choose 💜 found family 💜 mysteries 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice
Karma loves to bake, her best friend, Lemon, and Lemon’s son, Hillson. But one thing most people don’t know is she’s an assassin and sometimes her bakery items really are to die for. But, when Karma ends up becoming the mother of the two year old because something happens to Lemon, she decides to take on this mystery on her own. Will she figure out what happened to Lemon? Will Karma be ok becoming a momma?
This was a really fun story. I was trying to figure out the mysteries too. And the men that are in this story are so great too. I enjoyed the whole thing and watching how each mystery unfolded.
I have loved all the Belladonnas and enjoyed Karmas story. We briefly catch up with the other girls throughout the story as Karma seeks vengeance for the death of her bestie Lemon whilst also falling for Bryce against her better judgment. She’s such a strong character who always gets her mark. The other guys she meets at the college posing as members of the faculty add a major dash of spice. Love stories were we see plenty man on man action, so hot. An amazing story, definitely worth waiting for.
Karma is a great story and the spice is top notch!
I was a little worried about how her and Bryce, because I just love them together, but I was not disappointed!
Amber has a way of writing where you feel the emotions of the characters as though you’re living through them.
I highly recommend this book if you love a why choose happily ever after with a sassy, witty, and strong FMC and four MMC that love just as hard as she does!
I loved Karma in this book she is a little sweet with a lot of spice. She is a belladonna and has a best friend that knows nothing about her life but when she is murdered Karma will do anything to get her revenge. This book has 4 men in it that makes her heart beat.
This was really easy to read, well paced, with plenty of action, drama, twists and spice.
Loved Karma, she is a strong capable character who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to get it. Loved her interactions with Bryce and the rest of the men. Some parts felt a bit rushed to me but overall I enjoyed this
Karma is such a likable character and I found myself going through a rollercoaster of emotions. You will be amused, angry, frustrated, and sob uncontrollably. Maybe that was just me but either was Karma was an excellent book and I look forward to reading the rest in the shared world.
This is my first book in this shared world, I wasn’t disappointed and so happy it was a standalone. Now I’ll be picking up the other books by the other authors to read them too. Wonderful story, great chemistry and the perfect amount of spice to keep my attention throughout the whole book.
Karma was so amazing in this fabulous story which was funny, spicy, heartbreaking and enthralling. Bryce was a sweetheart as were the other guys. Loved this so much.
Loved Karma and her whole vibe. What a great and interesting twist on an assassin’s methods. Absolutely loved Bryce and how hard he cares for her. The relationship she has with her godson was beautiful. I would have loved more relationship building with the guys. Parts felt a bit rushed. This could have been split into a duet to beef up some parts of the story. A great read overall.
I have loved every book I’ve read from this shared world series, and this one is no exception. Lots of secrets abound as Karma tries to find out what happened to her best friend. Karma never expected to catch feelings for anyone, let alone multiple anyones, so it’s fun to see her work through her feelings and her relationships. The spice is definitely hot, and I love the personalities of all the guys. So good!
I have been loving the dressed to kill series, what’s not to love about a group of badass female assassins. I was so excited to finally read Karma’s story but also gutted because it means we are close to the end. This instalment by Amber Nicole was *chef kiss*.
Karma was such a strong and relatable character. It was easy to relate to her undying need to discover the truth about Lemon by any means possible. I would give a gentle warning to read the triggers and take heed if you find loss of a friend difficult. The way it is dealt with by Amber’s writing was very respectful and fitting but also unavoidably it stabs at the heart.
I loved Bryce, who doesn’t want a loyal pierced up tattood god? Well perhaps Karma for a while but she was just doing what we would all do when we are confused about our feelings and hiding our identity as a secret assassin, right? I really enjoyed the friends with benefits will they won’t they won’t they pull.
I’ve said time and time again how I feel about slow burn so when I realised that the rest of the guys (Brooks, Vin, and TJ) weren’t introduced until after half way through the book I was sceptical. Once you read, it makes perfect sense for the development of the story. Also when I say the heat gets cranked up to max when they come in boy do I mean it! Aside from the spice the relationships between the guys individually and with Karma made for such a satisfying read, almost as sweet as Karma’s baked treats.
I loved finally getting to have Karma’s story! We have had little hints of her throughout the other girls’ stories. I have loved meeting all of the belladonnas and was excited to see that Amber Nicole was going to be apart of the series, but I’m sad that after this one I only have Tabitha left. I loved how fierce Karma was and how her signature was deadly treats. A little Rough with the sweet. I loved Bryce and I loved how from the beginning he just was all in. There is a brief time where he starts to waiver but overall, he is going to do whatever he needs to do to be apart of Karma’s life even when life throws her for a loop and she loses Lemon. Karma loses her best friend Lemon under shady circumstances and she sets out to prove what happened to Lemon and who killed her. She pushes Bryce away in the process of seeking truth. They do find their way back and along the way add Brooks, TJ and Vin and who they are is also a mystery for a while. Everyone has an angle. Will Bryce and Karma make their way back to each other. Who are the 3 new guys? What and who are they looking for? Who killed Lemon? Will they get their happily ever after? I think my one question would be getting to see more of what happens with Johnson. I loved the friendship Karma and him formed and would love to see where life takes him.
I want to start by saying that I highly recommend the Dressed To Kill series. My favorites are Raven and Darcy but I love the whole series and would give all the others books in the series 5 Stars! I never really re-read books but I am reading this series for the third time. Karmas book is still and amazing book and I still recommend you read it regardless because it’s nice to know all the girls stories and get the complete picture of where all the girls end up.
That said, here come the spoilers, I got very frustrated with Karma. Reason number 1. She treats Bryce like shit and I keep wanting him to move on and hoping he moves and stops letting him treat her poorly. And number two she is obviously pregnant with Bryce’s baby and refuses to believe she’s pregnant. The last thing is that she never breaks up with Bryce but they weren’t together to begin with so it’s okay for her to move out on with other guys even when she has left him on red and he’s pining for her. I really wanted to like Karma but I felt out of all the girls when he the most thoughtless and the most selfish. Her reasoning for her actions is also silly. She was very frustrating. I do like the way the book ends and the happy ending is still great and I love Hill but he’s hardly in the book because she’s leaves him as soon as she gets custody of him so she can avenge is mom/aunt.

Well the advert wasn't wrong. Welcome to the dangerous and enticing world of the Belladonnas—where the women may be beautiful, but they’re more deadly than anyone could ever imagine.
Yet again Amber knocked it out of the park with this amazing new release. I had not read the other books that are already released by other Authors in this series so my next job is to fix that injustice. Back to this book, I'm conflicted so badly I want to tell you all about it as I'm so excited about the story line I want to burst and my friends have only started ot today and do not read at the speed I do but I'm gonna be good and not spoil it for you, its really a book that deserves to be truly enjoyed and not have snipits giving away all the best bits. If you like Spice, sex and secret societies then this is up your street. Grab it today.
“Welcome to the dangerous and enticing world of the Belladonnas—where the women may be beautiful, but they’re more deadly than anyone could ever imagine.”
I really enjoyed this story! If you’re a fan of spicy smut, why choose with MM, dark emotions, with mystery then Karma is for you. Karma is apart of a super secret world of the Belladonnas, who are a found family of female assassins. That world is all Karma knows until she meets a friend who has nothing to do with that part of her life.
Lemon gives Karma a sense of normalcy, they quickly become best friends and when something happens Karma takes it upon herself to investigate.
This wasn't for me really, I have read and enjoyed others in this series but I just couldn't get on with the FMC in this. I ended up DNF at 60% as the rest of the MMCs were only just being introduced, which I don't really get as a standalone RH. How are you supposed to connect with the characters when they haven't been present in most of the book? I liked the MMC we mainly get to know, he seemed interesting and I liked his personality but the FMC just came across as self absorbed. She kept stringing along the MMC and when she wanted company she would reach out, then at the end of the night would say they need to not do it anymore and would ghost him...only to do it all over again. The FMC's friend felt like the main focus, and more of a main character than the rest of the MMCs.
