These six tales cover pretty much everything a reader could want, from the conspiracy theory/sci-fi combination of King Midas's Barber to the humour and fantasy of The Twitching (think this was probably my favourite...well it is today anyway!). Each of the stories stands alone brilliantly and leave plenty for the reader to interpret and imagine allowing for a more personal view of each of the stories. The writing itself carefully balanced with some superb one liners and digs at modern life (a few had me laughing out loud...) and the characters are portrayed and developed well (the god in Teophany was a particular favourite of mine on that front). Overall a good read.
