*** Amazon #1 Best Selling Author ***A mysterious love letter, a secret admirer, and a chance for a new life on the shores of Laguna Beach. When a mysterious unsigned love letter arrives in Cassie Donovan’s mailbox, she assumes it was delivered by mistake. She has only ever been in love once – and that was a long time ago. Now nearing 40 and working herself into an early grave as a nurse, she wishes her romantic life had turned out differently.

But after a family tragedy draws her back to her childhood home town of Laguna Beach, her fate collides with the two brothers who stole her heart. Nick King is a successful doctor, and his brother Sam is a musician who’s down on his luck. Seeing the pair ignites feelings within her that Cassie thought she’d buried a long time ago.

And when another unsigned letter arrives, Cassie becomes determined to unravel the mystery behind her secret admirer. Fate brought an end to her teenage crush – but perhaps fate will give her the chance to reimagine her life and find the happiness she’s always wanted.

This has been a good family series. Cassie has worried about her family and their comfort and her dad’s final days. She wanted him to be comfortable as he could be and was very upset when he decided not to take further treatment which would shorten his time, but he wanted the time that he had left to be as normal as possible instead of sick all the time from the chemo. He did have a lot of coughing which was hard sometimes. They had a very good talk one night before he went to bed about things that he wanted & how he wanted things carried out. He died that night in his sleep. It was so hard on Jen & Cassie, but not as hard as it could have been. After everything was talked care of Cassie’s mom rented Mrs. King’s house & Cassie went back to her job. It was supposed to be better, not so many hours & better working conditions, well that didn’t last long so she quit her job which her boss didn’t think she would do. She applied for several jobs and a job in Luguna Beach. In the meantime she decided to go stay with her mother at the beach house. What will her decision be? What will she chose to do? She is at odds with Sam & Nick. Will she make up with them or go back to the city & her old apartment or will she stay with her mother? What will her decision be??

I received this ARC Book for free & I’m giving my review for free in my own words. This has been a wonderful series. I hate to see it end!

I hate that this was split up into 6 books.
The dad dies.
They have funeral in back yard. Ms King came home for it. The mom had someone to help her.
Cassie tells Sam they have to be just friends.
After Cassie sees her mom is ok she goes back to work…last 2 weeks and quits. Goes back to Laguna.
Nick talks her into coming to see Sams show…she goes. When she hears him sing she knows she’s in love with him and alway was. She meets him back stage and tells him so. They finally kiss.

Grace Meyers did such a good job with this series of books. Very difficult topic to deal with. Healing came to many in this series. Very well written. I was given an advanced reader copy of this book by the author and I am sharing my review freely.

This last book moved up to 4 stars. A lot happens; some sad news, some good news, beautiful music, and happiness but it takes all 6 books for this last one to be as goos as it is.
