The book was written by my graduate school advisor Prof. Richard F. Thompson. He was an expert writer so that the book was extremely easy to read for anyone. Highly recommended for everyone.

I think that overall, this was an outstanding book that did a fantastic job at covering all of the bases when it comes to understanding the brain and how it works. Not many concepts went over my head, but I loved the book so much that I would read it again to try and understand them. All in all, this is a great book for anyone who finds physiology, anatomy, organic chemistry, or psychology interesting, as this book covers all of those concepts wonderfully.

Well written tour of our amazing brains. I'm just starting to re-read this after several years of dusting the cover.
