It takes a very specific and special talent for an author to make you ‘need’ to know more about a character that you find completely despicable and dislike intensely. Madison Montgomery has managed to craft a character that could fall off a bridge – and I wouldn’t miss her one bit. I would, however – watch her end.
That is how well created and defined this character is. Virginia Templeton is self-centered, arrogant, mean spirited, spoiled and demanding: forever playing a role of tortured diva and doing it so well that she is difficult to ignore. The author has created the new “woman you love to hate” as I was glued to each page of the story to find something positive in her. Certainly there were very few redeeming moments, but she is the train wreck that you need to read to find out if she has a conscience.
There is an underlying sexual tension throughout the story: some is created and manufactured by Virginia herself through her actions, but then there is true tension in the sexual encounters that are steamy, quick and satisfying moments. This is a series that, at the moment, is a step-by-step guide in what not to do, and I’m curious to see what the next instalment will bring.

I've never really taken to romance stories unless there was a 'paranormal' element to it. With that being said, I was given an ecopy of this short story and fell in love with it IMMEDIATELY! I love the writer's style. The characters were so well developed that I loved and hated them for different reasons. I found myself relating to and cussing out the characters. That's when you know that you have an amazing story! My only complaint was that it was a shorty, I want more! I am seriously excited for book 2 and because of Every Man Wants Her, am going to start checking out more adult romance books! Bravo to the author!! ~K.B. Miller
