Mindwebs audiobook #13 narrates “I Kill Myself” by Julian Kawalec - a story first published in “The Modern Polish Mind - An Anthology of Stories and Essays by Writers Living in Poland today” by Maria Kuncewiczowa in 1962. This was actually from this book “Transformations -understanding world history through science fiction“ collection edited by Danielle Roselle.

A man describes the awesome power of the handheld Zeta bomb he intends to steal and then destroy. But absolute power corrupts absolutely...so once stolen will it’s immense power bring his downfall or will he stick to his principles and destroy it asap?

Collection of short stories. Most I found flat dull. Exceptions: I Kill Myself by Julian Kawalec, “Repent, Harlequin!” Said the Ticktockman by Harlan Ellison, and Absalom by Henry Kuttner
