Eye opening. (I had to) There are things that we feel intuitivally, it is not until someone spells it out for you that you understand what is really going on vs what you we have always been lead to believe. This book changed my life when I read it last year. My journey is only just beginning. This book played a huge role in opening up my mind. There is so much more to life and living and this book will explain why and how. I am forever grateful.

Did not care for this book what so ever. The beginning was good, but it spiraled down hill quickly. She recommended you check out things on google images and certain web sites as if she just now discovered the internet. It was very annoying. Even though I believe in the third eye, I didn't agree with the majority of what she said. Over all this book was just annoying.

This is a condensed reference guide to the pineal gland and how to detoxify the body in order to have a properly functioning pineal gland. The author is a world-renown doctor so there's a lot of credibility to her resume and work for those of you who think this topic os woo woo. I recommend it for anyone interested in reaching your higher abilities whether as psychic, dreaming or intuition. Better brain function overall is also an advantage for sure.

Pineal Gland and Your Third Eye was written from the standpoint of a doctor of psychology and a long time researcher of the human mind. Although science based, the information provided is very easy to understand and includes an extensive reference section in the back of the book. The "meat" includes clear procedures you can use to actually activate your pineal gland to open your third eye. The book contains many in-depth topics which focus on the Pineal Gland and belief systems of long ago, tied with modern research and eye opening scientific data that sheds new light on the Pineal Gland and the powers it holds.

The pine cone shaped Pineal Gland is about the size of a grain of rice (in humans), which is about 5-8mm in diameter on average and shows up plainly in human skull X-rays. So how could something so small be surrounded by such vast mysteries and an equal or greater amount of questions?

The mysteries surrounding the Pineal Gland go all the way back to ancient times. It is believed that the Pineal Gland was kind of a door or a gateway that if harnessed and opened would lead us to a higher state of awareness and consciousness and many believe that it had psychic capabilities associated with it as well.

A direct connection between your state of mind and your higher self has been established and proven to correlate exactly with the brain. In this book Pineal Gland and Your Third Eye, you'll discover an eye opening (no pun intended) 15 different "how to" methods into activating your Pineal Gland to open your third eye. These methods are both physical and psychological in nature and date back to ancient times.

If you are interested in learning more about the Pineal Gland, I insist that you read this book and go on a journey into discovering the powers that can be harnessed by learning how to control your Pineal Gland. The book, Pineal Gland and Your Third Eye is a must read for anyone interested in establishing a connection between your normal state of mind and a higher level of awareness and state of overall consciousness by learning how to open your third eye.

many interesting but not so new exercises to achieve OBE's and a ton of references to websites (and his own products). The information about the pineal gland was interesting and well written, but the rest of the book didn't 'flow', maybe because of too many URL's within the body (rather than at the end). I like to read even a non fiction book like a story. And when I want to check out up a recommended website, I look for it at the end of the book.

Good for a beginner

This was a VERY short book. Some of the information was interesting, but it was very vague. The book lacks depth. It would be good for someone who knows absolutely nothing on this subject, but as for me it didn't present anything new. I did like the simplified language she uses, because it gets straight to the point. There are also many links included if you decide to continue your research.

Insightful information

I enjoyed Dr. Ammon-Wexler's short but accurate history and practical advice on activating one's third eye. I am fascinated by the ability of our body to heal and facilitate change in ourselves. Her explanations made it easy to try many of these techniques. I have achieved a great sense of relaxation

This book has a great deal of excellent information. However, it is just a big pitch to try and get you to buy the author's meditation cds. I kinda felt cheated in the end....

Useless and very annoying. 'Check the Google' go to 'http://...' - I barely had made to the end. Thank goodness it was a very short read.
