A rolling story with incredible detail when it comes to food and even more so his artistic works.

He also loves women, wine and being a recluse on his Tasmanian hillside property. His ability to describe any of the above is a highly honed paint skill that is cleverly transferred to vocabulary.

I laughed, shed many a tear and felt every other emotion in-between as this artist's story rolls along with no ability to put the book down. I saw myself agreeing with his thoughts and visions as the pictures of paint were of so vivid.

A Tasmanian book that has encouraged me to visit the places mentioned.

A corker of a book. It is a great story, a landscape and a great study of real life characters.
