I first discovered Mike with his podcasts of Underwood and Flinch, and One Among the Sleepless. His narration is pretty cool. His stories are generally good natured horror. They are fun to listen to and fun to read as well.

There are three stories in this collection: Salvation, The Green Man, and Night Crossing.

Night Crossing is an episode of Underwood and Flinch. Underwood is a vampire and Flinch is his...helper.

The Green Man is a story of one man's attempt at burying the past.

Salvation has one man make a deal with the Devil only to have that deal play out on him.

This collection is a quick read and quite entertaining.

Mike's work has a delightful way of infesting your brain and hijacking your imagination, to the point where you are not sure what you remember from Life - or what you read in a Bennett book. He is a truly amazing talent! If you haven't yet had the exquisite pleasure of hearing Mike perform his works, do yourself a solid favour and head over to his site and download a free podcast!
