This is the exciting second installment in the Gwen Farris series. Don’t miss out on the first novel, “Abominations”, because the path to a richer personal world starts there!
Gwen Farris woke up one day in another person’s body, in a strange world she’d never even imagined existed. Now she has a new job as an agent for the King’s Special Service, trying to find the person responsible for stealing her old life and stopping them from destroying her new home by bringing the “old ones” back from the void, before it’s too late.
When sudden attacks come from terrorists, the only person that understands what’s going on is the stranger from a different world, making Gwen a hot commodity and useful resource, but also uncovering the fact that, as odd as it seems, she just might not be as alone in this new place as she thought she was.
Because her life is a lot different than she ever suspected and it’s about to hit her so hard she might never recover.
P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line. Or visit his forum: http://pspowerbooks.com/phpBBF/index.php
In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!
Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but I am a bit disappointed in this one. The story seemed to be everybody running around like ‘headless chickens’, getting nowhere. Numerous new characters appeared and disappeared without really gaining my interest and then there is Gwen’s weird personal life, which I didn’t understand at all. The author might have been better just allowing Gwen and Beth getting together. I think part of the problem is that the story didn’t seem to make much progress, there appeared to be lots of action, but it became bit tedious because it didn’t go anywhere. I will read the next book because the I like the basic concept behind the series, I just hope the story progresses a bit quicker.
Congratulations to P.S. Powers for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.
a little to much Action for my tastes...non stop action, lurching from crises to crises. I found it too confusing and almost lost interest in the characters...
I think this book was just simply amazing. The different plot twists and sidetracks were great and so much fun to read about. I highly recommend this series.
