Katie's Hellion (Book I): Katie thinks she’s going crazy when a baby immortal and death’s personal assistant appear at her doorstep. She’s drawn into a world filled with immortals like Rhyn, an outcast half-breed who claims her as his mate in a show of defiance to his brothers. Rhyn rescues her from Hell and discovers his little human has a gift that’ll help his brothers protect the immortal and mortal worlds.
Katie's Hope (Book II): Katie learns the Immortals have no intention of letting her go.Rhyn discovers he can only protect her if he accepts his place among the Immortals. However, doing so may cost him the only thing that matters.Meanwhile, enemies are closing in and Katie must choose between Death or Hell to save Rhyn from both.
Rhyn's Redemption (Book III): Katie and Rhyn are in a race against time to free Katie from the underworld, before Death claims her soul and that of her child. When Katie’s guide in the underworld disappears, she has one option: trust the ghost of someone long-dead and seek out Death's fortress in order to try to escape through the portal leading back to the mortal world.
Rhyn discovers Katie's alive but struggles to control his demon powers, which were unleashed when he un-bonded her. He opens the barrier that keeps Death safe from the Dark One. Demons and his immortal brothers follow him as he seeks out Death to make a deal for Katie’s life. When Death reveals to Rhyn what will happen if Katie’s soul is returned, he must choose between destruction of the world or his own mate.

KATIE'S HELLION: Lizzy was kind enough to give me the books in this series to read and review, and I must say I wasn't disappointed (I'm never disappointed with Lizzy's work). She has a great talent and Rhyn was he's a beast (metaphorically and literally), the dialogue between the characters is memorable and so aren't the characters themselves. "You could've asked me for anything in the universe and you ask me to babysit a human." Katie is a take no crap kind of girl, and she speaks her mind. "Your shit is everywhere," she said. "And what in the name of holy are you doing with a sword? Is that even legal?" At this particular point Katie doesn't know which way is up. "You drop off some sort of Demon in my house try to convince me I'm either completely crazy or suffering from amnesia, stalk me to this gala and expect me to tell you where I spend every minute of every day?" The Rhyn and Katie mate thing I love a lot, Lizzy does nice sex scenes, I mean it's left to your imagination, but it still gets your blood going. I'm really glad I have the next book in the series as the cliffhanger was just to much. My most memorable quote that I have to say is my favorite is "So you repay me for rescuing you by eating my arm?"
KATIE'S HOPE: when I read "where the name of her ancient Immortal male Rhyn, had been until he broke their mating bond two days before." I was mortified, pissed and sad. Katie brings the best out in Rhyn and I want them together! Then I read the next page and it was just a dream, and AHHHH Katie is knocked up OH MY GOD!!! yea I thought that like 500 times excited but then I thought about Rhyn that boy is NOT ready to be a daddy. Hannah and Kris are starting to get on my nerves just want to reach through the book and punch them! At least Rhyn is semi-sweet in this book, "I watch them watch you," he said. "You draw them out on your runs, and I kill them. We're a good team." I cried my heart out in this book! Once again thank the heavens I have the next book in the series!!
RHYN'S REDEMPTION: Well this book sad to say I didn't like as much, it wasn't because of Lizzy's writing it was because Rhyn and Katie were kind of not together in the book. I still hate Kris he's an ass and Hannah is just a twit, and Kiki he's growing on me. "What's not wrong?" Kiki snapped in response, "Rhyn's gone ape-shit crazy and decided to kill Death, Toby's in Hell, and Darkyn is planning something big, but I don't know what." Now that Kris and Hannah have mated you would think the boy would be happy, secretly I think he still wants Katie, he's more anal then usual in this book... "How do you incorporate Hell and fine in the same sentence?" Kris demanded." I LOVED the ending though, "Right now, I owe my mate a rowdy night on the beach under the moonlight," he said. He swung her up into his arms and strode towards the water. NO CLIFFHANGERS!! just the way I like it, and a happy ending (for now).
Great characters, some slow spots, but plenty of action, humor, and intrigue to make up for it. Four books in this ebook (Katie's Hellion, Katie's Hope, Rhyn's Redemption, Origins: a short story). Katie's Hellion - Katie gets introduced to another reality/world. She leaves for work without a kid and ends up at the police station for leaving her kid on the train, and then accepting that she has a kid and memory issues. Eventually her connection to the immortals happens and more characters come into play. It's a little weird in spots at first, but evens out. Gabriel (Death's Assassin), Toby (Angel), Rhyn (demon/immortal) are in it. Katie's Hope - Better (but it doesn't need the set up that the first book did). It continues from the first book. Katie is immersed in the immortal world and all it's problems, including Rhyn (who she has fallen for) & his brothers (& their issues). Gabriel & Toby are closer to Katie in this book. Rhyn's Redemption - Lots of action, secrets told, and issues faced by most all. Lots of changes happen in this book. Rhyn earns the respect of his brothers by his actions, but they are reluctant to give it to him. He's got one goal in mind (Katie). Doesn't wrap things up nicely, but there is a note from the author that it doesn't and that she created a spin off of sorts to continue the story. Origins - this one is about Gabriel and how he comes to be with Death, and a little of his tragic human life ending.
Look forward to Gabriel's Hope and finding out what happens with Katie, Rhyn, Gabriel, Toby, Etc. There's still Darkyn and his demons to deal with.
I still can't exactly understand how a woman can fall in love with a man who calls her blood monkey and treats her like a slave for the entire fist book but overall I did like this trilogy. I'm sorry it's still a long wait to read the rest of this story though. I bought this trilogy precisely because it was a finished series and turns out there's more under a different name. I hate it when this happens...but I'll wait and read it because it was dramatic, funny, interesting and action-packed and I can only assume the next books will be as well.
The main couple was frustrating beyond measure but oh so very sweet! I'm glad it turned out well for them! I hope Gabe's luck changes soon and Darkyn gets offed violently and slowly like he should've been in the end of this trilogy. I also hope Hannah, Katie's sister, wakes the hell up and notices that the world is falling apart and she needs to back her sister up! I'm so anxious to find out more about Rhyn and Katie as a couple and Hazel's arriving! So exciting!

This book moves along well. It had a continual what-on-earth-is-going-to-happen-next?! feel to it. By picking up this trilogy-in-one you'll be glad you have the continuation of the story readily available. The Rhyn Trilogy reminded me of the world of Dark Loverby J.R.Ward. If you like the Black Dagger Brotherhood series you might like this one, too.
note to friends: At the time I purchased this one on Amazon, it was listed as a young adult book. This is NOT a young adult novel, just because one of the characters is 18 doesn't make it a YA book. Would fit more into the New Adult category. Violence, Adult language, and situations abound.
So this was a little disappointing. I read the first book on it's own and was excited to read the next 2 books. I was disappointed when I finished the last book. I was really hoping for something different. I was disappointed in every single character except for Toby. Which is terrible considering he is a secondary character at best. I was hoping for more character development and was sorely let down. There was no improvement in any characters they were exactly the same in the last 2 books as they are at the beginning. Overall disappointing finish to a series that had potential.
I absolutely loved this Trilogy!! Lizzy Ford gives you everything in one package! Twists, turns, betrayal, love, action, and lots of sexiness! Katie, Rhyn, and all of the Immortal world are so exciting to follow. You will be drawn into a world you never knew existed. The emotions in this book are unbelievable! I felt like I was on a rollercoaster that I didn't want to end!
I don't know what I was expecting when I downloaded this book, but I'm glad I did. I usually don't go for the whole demon thing. This was a fantastic read that had you wondering what was going to happen next. I look forward to reading more from this series and other books by this author. Read it, you won't regret it!!!!!!!!!
I almost didn't download this book, thinking it sounded too similar to The Black Dagger Brotherhood. I'm so glad I gave it a chance. Read the whole trilogy in 3 days. Book 2 especially I couldn't put down. I very much enjoyed Katie's personality. The writing was good. I will pick up the next chapters in the future. If you like the fantasy genre, this is really great!
Rhyn started out trapped in hell in a jail cell because his brothers put him there. He meet Katie and she got him out and then claimed her. He grew through this whole series. He relised he loved Katie and he even went to the underworld to save her and she was pregnant with his baby. In the end love won all
Awesome story! Enjoyed every minute of it. Loved the fact that I was able to read the whole thing without having to wait for the next book. Rhyn fought his feelings for Katie pretty much until the end. An ancient without manners, always flipping Katie. Katie's mouth is just without a screen, no matter what situation, she cannot shut up. Love them together. Can't wait for the continuation.....
I loved this trilogy set. Rhyn and his mate Katie have such an adventure. She saves him and in the end he saves her. The story was i testing to keep me wanting to read it. Loved all the characters. Katie Rhyn and Toby are my favourites, they make a cute little family. Can't wait to start the Rhyn Eternal series. Love you Lizzy Ford and your books.
I love Rhyn and how he isn't perfect. I love Katie for putting up with him and understanding him! Once again, a great cast of characters and a world that is fun to read about! Another great series by Ms. Ford!
Could not even finish it. Poor writing...needs editing. Got to third book thinking it was almost over and saw she was continuing the story with another series. So I just stopped. Torture over.
hated, Hated, HATED timeskips and opening scenes of each book. there's a way to open with an intense/traumatic event well, unfortunately NOT THIS WAY!!!! writing ham-handed, but awesome ideas!
I found book one a little slow and almost put it down but pressed on and I'm so glad I did. I loved book 2 and three and look forward to reading the next books in the extended series.
