I’ve never read a book by Charity that I didn’t absolutely love and By Request was no different!! Wale and Skylar were absolutely everything!!!! 🗣️EVERYTHING🥰🥰🥰
Skylar is slowly finding her way in the world and just when she finally has her footing the bîtch aśś student loan folks start garnishing her wages! She might’ve fallen down, but she got back up. Not wanting to take any handouts, Sky does the next best thing. As an IT specialist, her aunt enlists her to work for her elite escort service beefing up security firewalls and fixing glitches on the website and logistics. Day one of works is met with a Nigerian hunk of a man that literally stole her breath!
Wale is a successful multimillionaire that owns luxury 5 start resorts all over the world. During his downtime he likes to enjoy pre arranged companionship via TopPick, the premier escort service in Crescent Falls. Charity drops another one. I took pleasure in reading about Wale and Skylar's erotic adventures cough cough *** (Tantric Chair). This was a passionate story that seemed like a dream come true. It kicks off with Skylar as a teacher struggling financially due to college loans. Wale is a member of her aunt's exclusive club, but once he sees Skylar, he wants her. Every book reader's fantasy, I believe, is a weekend affair with a wealthy man that leads to more. Also love the representation of the Nigerian culture it gave depth to Wales character. Skylar's behavior regarding the Ginika issue confused me because where is the trust? Ginika is also strange since, as a female, you have more important things to worry about than playing mind games with Skylar. Ginika wouldn’t have gotten a penny from me that’s her karma. God don’t like ugly.

Whew I've been itching for a book where the LOVE jumps off the pages and Wale and Skylar did that for me. From their initial meeting until the very end, you felt their crazy connection. Together they were so damn sexy and I was here for it all🔥🔥. Wale with his third leg, mesmerizing eyes, tantra chair, and giving nature had my girl Skylar head over heels and I couldn't blame her. When a little conflict arises sis was out of her mind, she was young and stubborn and her feelings were genuinely hurt because of Giselle's shady self.
It was nice to experience the fall, and I love when the mc is deep in love as well. It was good to see their progression in the epilogue even if I wanted to experience it with them. They of course went out with a bang like only they could.

She was descriptive with the sex scenes but focused on the romance. Skylar is the niece of an exclusive club owner where Wale is a member. The club is where the wealthy go for companionship, but when Wale sees Skylar, he has to have her. What should have been a weekend fling turned into something more intimate. Wale is a man and I love an MMC that is not afraid to share the wealth of his wallet or what he is “packing.” Wale is the definition of a generous lover and provided princess treatment only. I loved Wale’s culture and how easy it was for Skylar to learn. I enjoyed this book!

I was pissed for Skylar, cause what is her little $500 a month gone do?? 🤬 Anywho, Skylar going to talk to Aunt Giselle, put her in the path of THE African God himself, Wale! I swear I could picture this 6'5 chocolate mountain of a man with blue/green eyes vividly! 😍 Wale was immediately enamored with Skylar from a glance, and it was game on! Skylar did not know what to do after learning this beautiful man with money to burn, wanted her! However, Skylar did not stand a chance with the intensity and BDE that Wale walked around with! It only took that initial weekend for the both of them to be all in! First, you pulled the people in talking about how the government likes to play with people’s money when it comes to these student loans! Then, you did your best work when you described and included this god of a man Adebowale “Wale” Okun!!!! I’ve heard about African men, but dang it if he doesn’t make them look goooooooddd!! Definitely enjoyed reading about some of the African culture & customs!
Let me say, Auntie Giselle was definitely blocking at first, but I’m glad Wale didn’t give up!
Wale and Skylar were an EXPLOSIVE couple that pulled you completely in with the chemistry they had.! Skylar did a little too much with letting the fact that Ginika introduced Wale to “tantric” consume her thoughts! I mean, he learned it from somewhere & he’s used it on plenty of women before her, but since he was at one point in love with her changes things? Placing too much emphasis on the past is never good, but people in love can do the unthinkable right!? This was a good lil read, only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is the fake 3rd act breakup like sorry the reason was so dumb and pointless that I wanted to jump in and throat punch Wale. First, for this to be Charity Shane’s first Erotica book she came out swinging. This one was too sexy. Wale got me looking for my Yoruba husband. He knew at the first sight of Skylar he wanted her but there was a catch. She wasn’t exactly on the menu he was offered at Topick. It just so happens Skylar learns her wages are getting garnished and is in need of some extra money. Who knew after taking a job for a couple extra dollars at her aunt’s business would lead her to experiencing passion unlike she’s every had.
