Very much liked the idea of seeing a few chapters from Michel's point of view. It gave a completely different perspective and a depth to the story that would otherwise not have existed. Just four chapters, but they are complete scenes. Entertaining, insightful and in some cases, quite moving. Michel clearly adores Lucinda, but hides most of this behind his Master of the City façade. Enjoyable little extra read from the Kindred Universe.

An interesting collection of narratives which would encourage you to read further given you delectation was vampire. Alternate view of the scene was interesting. Thanks

I love Luce and Michael, so to get to see his point of view is amazing. To see all the love he feels for Lucinda will leave you speechless
